Lump in Breast Proves Benign
In August, 1998, my mammogram indicated there was a spot that looked suspicious. The doctor sent me to have a core biopsy. The report came back positive. Thereupon the surgeon recommended an excisional biopsy to remove the cancer tissue and cells. A recent pathologist's report stated that there was no residual tumor so radiation may not be necessary.
Through this whole procedure, I was upheld in prayer by our minister, friends, and family with their prayers, love, support, and concern. I knew God was in charge and felt His presence during this entire procedure. I am optimistic that God will continue His healing process and that I am going to be all right.
"Fear not for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10)
