Healed Of Scoliosis

I am a wife and mother of two fine boys, ages 6 and 8. About three years ago, I was introduced to the Charismatic Catholic faith. I've always been a catholic, but never felt the power of the Holy Spirit, until 1997. That year, my mother and I went to visit our relatives in California. Our cousins, Marge and Tony were very much involved in their church as charismatic catholics.

It was on that vacation, when Marge and Tony prayed on me after a prayer service, when my life changed forever. At the time I was having some health problems and my marriage was about to end. That night, I was slain in the holy spirit and received a healing. During the healing, Tony saw a vision that my spine was being stretched. All my life I've lived with a scoliosis of the spine that was causing some health problems for me. The Lord did in fact straighten out my spine and also straightened out my attitude toward life. I will always be forever grateful to Marge and Tony for opening their hearts and faith to me, and showing the healing power of the Lord, through the Holy Spirit.

Last year, Marge and Tony took a trip out to visit my family. Our familys would alternate each year on our visits to each other. This past trip they made out here was a visit to remember. Marge and Tony conducted a healing and prayer service in my home that summer. Many people were healed through the Holy Spirit that memorable night. My brother stopped smoking after twenty years, and that was truly a miracle! Tony always said it was one of his best vacations, and told everyone how so many people were physically and spirtitually healed that night in my home.

Well, a shock came to our family this past March. When Marge and Tony were on Tony's dream vacation to the Holy Land, Tony died suddenly and sweetly. As they were coming out of the tomb of Jesus, Tony didn't feel well, so he layed acrosss a stone bench outside the tomb, and that's where he passed. We miss him terribly, but we know his spirit lives on.

Since, Tony and Marge helped change my life, I have witnessed many miracles in my family through the power of prayer and the Holy Spirit. The week Tony passed away, a vision appeared in my house in the form of a shadow on my ceiling, it is the face of Jesus, with other pictures surrounding it. I am an artist and I have captured the image in a drawing. The image still remains in my home today.

I have told my story to others in the traditional catholic faith, but I have not heard any response. I know this image remains as the Lord's recognition of Tony's accomplishments and for me and others who witnessed to keep the faith.

Today, there are friends and family that have a new awareness of the Holy Spirit, thanks to Marge and Tony. One of our dear friends who was told she has terminal lung cancer, is doing great today and has a strong desire to tell her story to others. I told her I would find out where she can give her testimonial.
