Breast Lump Vanishes

Jesus knew I needed a different healing than the one I had asked for.

Oddly enough, my first experience with Jesus' healing and loving care started with, but was not related to, my bad foot. My foot had been in a cast and all the medical things had been done, when I asked Hal to pray for Jesus to heal my foot. My foot did not change but Jesus knew of a greater need that I was not facing. I had just discovered a quarter-inch lump in my breast. I was too fearful to check again. I finally did check and found it was gone. That was much more important than a sore foot. Jesus knew what I needed. Thank you, Jesus!

My problem with an addiction

Again, using my need for healing of my foot, Jesus taught me about a spirit of addiction. I was asking Jesus what I should be doing, thinking that perhaps there was a job he would give me to do. I hated to ask because I was so tired at the time. The thought that Jesus gave me was so unrelated to anything I was thinking about, that I knew it was Jesus. It was "Give up coffee." He knew that I even drank it in the shower in the morning. I had given it up in the past but over the years I gradually slipped back into my old habit. Again, the healing group prayed for my foot. When I awakened the next morning, my desire for coffee was gone. Jesus had kept track of me and knew what I needed. For most people, there is nothing wrong with coffee, but for me it was a false source of energy. The doctor had told me that drinking so much of it was putting a strain on my adrenal gland. My excess coffee consumption was also increasing my craving for sugar and chocolate that I also abused to increase my energy. This caused my weight to increase. Jesus showed me that it was an evil spirit that had caused my problem. Over time, through the training I have received in our class, I have been learning how to defeat the enemy on a daily basis and see the results.

Gradual Healing

Thanks to the authority we have in the name of Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit, I can now hike, where before to walk a block was painful.

At one time I would get several migraine headaches a month. Now I seldom get one.

One day I realized that a problem I had had with swallowing was gone. Frequently, when I ate something it made me sick. Because I had thought it was something I could live with, I hadn't thought to ask Jesus to heal it. Nevertheless it is now gone. Thank you, Jesus.

Continuing healing

I believe Jesus will continue to heal my scoliosis. After having prayer I have become noticeably straighter to myself and others. I am claiming Luke 13:16 where Jesus was talking about a woman who was bent over for many years. He said, "Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?" (NIV)

Praying for others

When it became time for me to start praying for others, I felt that anyone else in the class would be better qualified to do it. Therefore, it was with the greatest joy and relief when I discovered that the power of the Holy Spirit could and would work through me also. I am now convinced that any spirit-filled believer can do it if they are open and willing to learn. Thank you, Jesus!
