Holyroller’s Stand on Faith

In the bible,Miracles by Jesus were done on a one on one basics, even in the crowds he dwelt with one at a time with the sickness, I also,do and believe in accepting a burdon of others and praying and fasting until we hear from heaven, not only does this make us stronger but makes us exspect to see the victory soon. I have seen the dead raised, fire fall, incurable diseases cured, impossible situations possible. People get to busy to do these things and miss help for themselves and others.

Why is it so many christians have lost faith in prayers being answered,I see this often and this is my answer, People allow themselves to be wrapped up with the cares of this life,to the point of unbelief, There are few that if I buried money in their back yard would not spend all night and day digging up the yard to find it. But God buried the answer to your prayers in his alter, but little time is spent looking for it. So weeks go by,then months ,then years, the next thing happens is not looking at all. The problem is the bible has hundreds of cases where tarrying has been done in order to show God we really want it. Little kids will go in a toy store and want all they see,but if they get their way,it a few minutes, they throw down the toy and look for other things. Sounds like what christians will do,if they gain at the drop of a hat, We must show God we know he is able, and tarry until we recieve.

Miracles are still available and still happening, and we as christians, would see more if we would seek past a 15 min, prayer time. Prayer is a sacrifice to God of a sweet savor, and to can;t out give God,so he blesses us when we bless him. Praise the Lord with time spent on him,and you will see great changes in everything we do!

      Hi Joseph

      When you say:
“People allow themselves to be wrapped up with the cares of this life,to the point of unbelief”

Here is the scripture which backs up what you are seeing.

      Mar 4:7
And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

      Mar 4:18,19
      18) And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
      19) And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

These people do not lose salvation, they only lose the word sown in their hearts before it can yield fruit unto salvation.

        Genesis 2
[16] And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
[17] But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

        James 1
[14] But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
[15] Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Those who fall among thorns do not stand by faith, so they give over to the flesh; and, the Word declares that equates to spiritual death. There’s no salvation for them.

        Romans 8
[1] There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit

Thanks, HR; what you said is just what I needed at this time. Though I have heard it many times, it’s good to hear it again. Onward Christian Soldiers.
