How to Reach as Many people for God as you want

This post is for you if you believe that “the gospel is the power of God for salvation of everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16) and that “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17).

If you are not a believer, I would ask you to have a look at something else on this site. This is something I really only want to share with Christians. I say this because I really care about people who are not in Christ, who don’t know Jesus personally at all. I want to help Christians to help YOU and others like you to escape the horrifying eternal judgments that are just around the corner. They are coming on everyone who despises the Word of God, which includes many Christians sadly. So please, rather, take a look at some of the great works of the Lord, come back to this page another time.

If you are a born again Christian I know you say you believe the passages I quote about the gospel bringing SALVATION to people, but if you are anything like the average born again Christian, your use of money proves that you don’t. Either that or you don’t have any love for the lost, which means you are totally out of touch with the heart of Jesus.

You can see by looking at
that the personal income of church members in 2006 was around 15930 BILLION dollars.

Its not like the church doesn’t have any money.

Of this 15930 BILLION dollars, about 140 billion was given to local churches. 21 billion was spent on world missions. Ecclesiastical crime came in at 22 billion US dollars. That’s right. More money was stolen by trusted church officers in 2006 than was given to foreign missions. Apparently only about 5% of them get caught.

Based on this, I call upon Christians everywhere to:

1. Give a lot more to foreign missions. Don’t just give your money, it might be wasted. Give a part of your life. Give your time. Be informed. Go yourself. Find out what are the EFFICIENT strategies that God is blessing that actually result in permanently changed lives through Jesus Christ.

2. Personally make sure that the money you give is not being wasted. Ask yourself just how effective your giving is in facilitating the MAJOR TASK that Christ left us with on earth – that is – bringing people to Christ and helping them STAY IN CHRIST.

3. Be aware that the two greatest and most effective ways of fulfilling the Great Commission today are a. sponsoring church planters or becoming one, b. using mass media to spread testimonies and preaching IN LOCAL LANGUAGES. All the luxuries we give for in the church are mostly helping us to be soft.

4. If you are into wealth generation, make sure that you don’t put off your giving until NEXT year. Do something NOW. Don’t try to invest and multiply it all forever until God gets sick of it and brings you to nothing. Try to remember those in prison, in hunger, thirst and nakedness while you buy yourself the latest luxuries. You can have luxuries, often they pay off really well in saving time and so on, but just try to remember these people also.

If I had just US$200,000 I could start a 24 hour TV channel in Hyderabad, India, with the potential to reach 5 million people in their homes for one year. I know from PERSONAL experience. Opportunities like that are all over India right now. No doubt similar opportunities exist in many other nations. Significant things can be done with far less money. Yet it hasn’t happened. Is that because out of the 15 TRILLION dollars of church income per year, God can’t find that amount? Or is it because WE, THE PEOPLE WHO PROFESS TO BELONG TO GOD, do NOT LISTEN, do NOT OBEY and DO NOT CARE about God’s priorities.

I tell you what I have found. Most pastors and ministers don’t give a hoot about any soul-winning initiative that will not reach THEIR target audience, and swell the ranks of THEIR CONGREGATIONS, increasing THEIR OFFERINGS and THEIR PRESTIGE. “For they all seek after their own interests, not those of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:21). This statement is pretty true both in developing and developed nations. That is why we as ministers of the gospel haven’t blanketed the world with powerful testimonies of God’s love and power as much as we’ve begged people to send us money to fund our extravagant lifestyles so we can “prove” that we have the blessing of God.

“What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, PROCLAIM ON THE HOUSETOPS [satellite TV?]. Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna. Matthew 10:27,28

If you think I am saying these things so that you will give me money, think again. I am about to go and do a few months of well paid secular work again in the I.T. industry and in the real estate industry. I don’t mind secular work. It is a lot easier sometimes than certain aspects of being a missionary. Work is a gift from God and I enjoy it. If you think I say these things so that you will give me money, I tell you what: Write me, and I will tell you how YOU can do the things that will reach millions of souls. You go do them, and I will be satisfied. Don’t tell anyone that I told you anything. I don’t want any credit for it. I just want people to be saved.

According to the findings at this website of the World Evangelization Research Center:

  • Christians spend more on the annual audits of their churches and agencies ($810 million) than on all their workers in the non-Christian world. [It costs us more to check on how money is used than what we spend on workers in the non-Christian world. Even so, 16-22 billion dollars of money given to the Christian agencies is stolen by trusted officers.]
  • The total cost of Christian outreach averages $330,000 for each and every newly baptized person. [This shows that most of the money we do spend is not spent effectively on doing the task Jesus gave us].
  • Despite Christ’s command to evangelize, 67% of all humans from AD 30 to the present day have never even heard of his name.
  • Everywhere on Earth can now easily be targeted with at least 3 of the 45 varieties of effective evangelism.
  • Christian communicators ignore the huge potential of the globe’s 983 lingua francas each with over 100,000 non-native speakers,or the 2,179 each over 100,000 total speakers.

Folks this last one is particularly significant. Why are we sending our money to people who preach the gospel in English to people who cannot understand English? If we really want to reach the world, we need to help the people who are BEST QUALIFIED to reach their own kind. They may not be big names, they may not be believing God for their own private jets, but they are extremely effective in doing God’s work. We need to get THESE people on TV and radio in the local languages so that they can bring the saving gospel to entire communities.

Your comments and feedback on this are especially welcome.

About Michael Fackerell

The Christian faith is about Jesus. He came to save the lost. About Jesus Christ, Bible teaching, Testimonies, Salvation, Prayer, Faith, Networking.

  1. I am not sure I want to be on this website as I’m not sure all I have read comes from true christians. No one should add or take away from the bible. The only bible I will read is the King James version.

    • What if you don’t speak English? Then the KJV won’t be useful for you. The Bible was written in Hebrew and Greek. The KJV is a good translation, and it uses the right texts unlike some other versions, but it is not as if it is the last word in Bible translation for all time.

The Bible says, “Test everything. Hold onto what is good. Avoid the form of evil”. There will be people posting things as comments which reveal ignorance and spiritual problems in their lives. We want to be able to help people deal with issues, and one way is to allow interaction with people who don’t agree 100% with everything we think or believe.

  2. warrior daughter says:

You do not understand the working of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in other tongues…You yourself did that when you wrote about it but God in His love for you knows that you are ignorant when it comes to things you do not understand….

  3. Mr. Malinowski,

When the Pharisees accused Jesus of casting out demons by the power of Beelzebul, Jesus answered them saying it was by the power of the Spirit of God he was casting out demons. Then he said “Blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven . . . anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.” So blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is attributing his work to demons and can never be forgiven. If you are wrong and speaking in tongues is from the Holy Spirit and you make a statement like, “This speaking in tongues movement is being used by Satan to unite non-Biblical churches” you run a great risk of blaspheming the Holy Spirit and of damning yourself. The Lord commands us to try to reach the lost, but some (such as those who have blasphemed the Holy Spirit) cannot be saved. I hope for your sake that the Lord does not see that as unforgivable. If it is not too late I strongly urge you to guard your comments well.

  4. warrior daughter says:

I am wondering where you get your information? Yes, you have listed some denominations that are false but not all that you listed are false and you have a spirit of hatred for them. I am wondering if your pastor preaches this or if this is your own thinking….If this is what you are being taught through preaching then you are in a cult. I have Baptist friends and they do not spew this talk or hatred for other denominations….We are all the Bride of Christ if our denomination is built on nothing but the Blood of Jesus…This is a sure foundation anything else is not a sure foundation. We do not enter heaven through our denomination but it is only when we as indivuals accept Jesus Christ as the only Way the only Life and the only Truth and it is only through His redeeming Blood do we get to enter heaven…All other ways are false and enter us into hell.

  5. You really don’t get it do you Mr. Malinkowski. I do not fear your judgement any more than I fear Bugs Bunny’s. Its interesting that Paul the apostle says “1Co 14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

Are you a false prophet? Please heed the admonition to judge not lest you be judged. Your judgement is in contradiction to scripture. Please tell me you are not involved with the Masons.

Add the Masons, sorry I did not get everyone.

      A little story:

My former pastor used to be holy until he blasphemed the holy ghost. My former pastor now is controller by demons and witches. I then pursued to look for another church in Montreal, Canada , I soon realised the truth about many religions. How much darkness is out there.

Your answer to speking in tongues:

      Speaking in Tongues
One of the earmarks of this movement is “speaking in tongues”. The word “Pentecostal” is derived from “Pentecost”, the name of the day when the first incidence of “speaking in tongues” occurred. The word “Charismatic” is derived from the Greek word for gifts, which is “charisma”. As implied by these names, the miraculous gifts are important to this movement. The gift of “speaking in tongues” is considered the most important by this movement, and people in the movement are taught that each Christian is to exercise this gift.

The word “tongue” in the Bible always refers to “a language”. The Greek word for tongue is always the same, “glossa”. Some good examples are found in Acts 2:11 and Revelation 5:9; 7:9; 10:11; 11:9; 13:7; 14:6; 17:15. In Revelation 9:11, the phrases “Hebrew tongue” and “Greek tongue” make it clear what the word means.
God worked a miracle in the lives of the early disciples and gave them the ability to preach the gospel in a language that they had not learned. In Acts chapter two, many Jews from sixteen other areas of the world heard the gospel in their own language and were saved. This was the beginning of the great church in Jerusalem. This miraculous gift was given for two very important reasons: 1) to break language barriers so many could be saved in the early days of the church and, 2) as a temporary sign to the Jews (see I Corinthians 1:22; 14:21-22) that the message of these disciples was from God, since the New Testament was not written yet (see Hebrews 2:2-4 and Mark 16:20, especially the phrase “was confirmed” in Hebrews 2:3). “Speaking in tongues” was another of the “signs of an apostle” (see II Corinthians 12:12), which are not mentioned from II Corinthians to Revelation.

Remember, this was a “gift” from God. It did not have to be taught or learned, even though many churches today “teach” people how to speak in tongues. Another important consideration is this: If the Biblical “gift” of tongues is present today, why do fervent, spiritual missionaries (even Pentecostal/charismatic ones) have to spend years learning new languages so they can preach the gospel?

It is taught by this movement that speaking in tongues is the evidence of the filling of the Holy Ghost. However, Jesus prophesied of the filling of the Holy Ghost and did not mention speaking in tongues (Luke 24:49). Acts 1:8 makes it clear that the filling was for the preaching of the gospel. Many times in the book of Acts, people were filled but they did not speak in tongues (see Acts 4:8, 31; 9:17-18; 13:9, 52). Of the seventeen times in Acts where people were saved, in only three of them was tongues involved. I Corinthians 12:28-31 makes it clear that not every Christian would be given this gift, which is listed as the “least” of the gifts.

One church in the Bible (Corinthians) was overly magnifying this gift and abusing it. This church was very carnal, so the book of I Corinthians was written as a rebuke (see II Corinthians 7:8-9) to correct them. In chapter fourteen, God gave some Biblical guidelines for speaking in tongues. These guidelines were given to make sure that everything was done decently and in order. For those who believe that the gift of speaking in tongues is still available to Christians today, these guidelines would be followed by the Holy Ghost, since He wrote them. Any church that encourages the speaking in tongues should ensure that these guidelines are being followed. Otherwise, maybe the Holy Ghost isn’t the One motivating the tongues (see Deuteronomy 13:1-5; II Thessalonians 2:9-10; Matthew 24:24 which show that Satan can also work through the miraculous). These guidelines are as follows:

I Cor 14:21-23, a sign for Jewish unbelievers’ benefit only (see I Cor 1:22)
I Cor 14:12, 26, for edification of others
I Cor 14:27, only two or three in a given church service
I Cor 14:27 (also vs. 23, “all”), must take turns
I Cor 14:28, must always have an interpreter present or keep silent
I Cor 14:33, 40, no confusion; decently and in order
I Cor 14:34-35, women not to participate in speaking in tongues in the churches
If you were to check, you would find that churches which have “speaking in tongues” today do not follow most of these Biblical guidelines. There must be a serious problem. If the current practice breaks these guidelines, then it cannot be from God, for He never violates His own Word. If the gift of “speaking in tongues” is available today, so must the gift of “interpretation of tongues” be available. What occurs, however, is multiple interpretations of the same unknown phrase, which would be impossible with God involved.
The Bible even warns against the common practice of “praying in tongues” because the understanding is not there (see I Corinthians 14:14-15). We must agree with Paul when he said, “in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue”, I Corinthians 14:19. This “speaking in tongues” movement is being used by Satan to unite non-Biblical churches, even churches that do not preach the gospel. Beware!

      • AshleyM says:

Wow. There was so much wrong with all this that it’s not even funny.. Robert, dude, did you even think to look up any of these verses from this article that you copied and pasted from Shane Montgomery’s blog? ( Because I did, and more than half of them don’t even say what he’s claiming they do.. I even checked in your preferred version, KJ. It kinda makes me wonder if this dude was smoking on something when he wrote it, because he basically just threw random verses together that touched lightly on the subject, but have absolutely no ground to back up his claims. The whole thing is garbage. Lol.. don’t take that too harshly. I know you’re not the one who wrote it 😉 He probably assumned that if he overwhelmed the thing with scripture verses, no one would think to check them. Which sadly, is true for most people. I mean, he obviously sure fooled YOU

..and WOW – it amazes me how excited you were to list all those doctrines and people who you’ve decided are false lights.. I admit I welcomed a hearty laugh. Especially when you told Michael Fackerell that you would “make my judgement on you very soon” lol. As if your judgement would make any kind of difference. As far as you are concerned Mr. Malinowski, you are nothing but a man yourself. You do not have any power to make judgements on other people. Period.

Also, I do not doubt that you were under demonic attack, as you so stated – right under where you lied by giving false references – and I certainly do not doubt that you were ALSO under oppression at the time you wrote all this nonsense. The devil is called “the father of lies,” and your simple act of lying about references is evidence that you are allowing him to control you to some degree.. if not EVERY degree. I find it strange that you would choose to post such a reply to a topic called “How to reach as many people for God as you want” in the first place, unless your intent was to create confusion among true believers, which is also a sure sign of Satan’s handiwork. My advice to you is to REPENT. Bind and rebuke the enemy from your life before he destoys it.

That’s all I have to say.

  6. What you believe is not necessary what is true. And you need to repent yourself before it is too late.If i understand you well, only Baptists will be saved.Stop preaching religion, preach Jesus and you”ll be good. There is one that you didn’t mention and i think you’re probably a member : Freemasonry.

  7. robertkmalinowski says:

All so called Christian false lights are:

    Roman Catholiscm

    New Agers
    Christian Science
    Church of Christ
    United Church of Christ
    Todd Bentley
    Billy Graham
    Robert Schambach
    Joyce Meyer
    Carl Fox
    Benny Hinn
    John C Hagee
    Tomorrows World
    Jay Snell
    Paul Norcorss

I will expain the reality of that one later.

And maybe Michael Fackerell. I will make my judgement on you very soon.

Were do you find the true light:

Generally at King James Only Bible Baptist (Beware some of them are corrupted by a man call Peter Ruckman (he teaches a false message that you cannot blaspheme the Holy Ghost today, one word against the Holy Spirit, or attribute evil to a Holy Pastor, or attribute the works of Jesus-christ to you know who will dam your soul forever.)

Please take note false lights : You are preparing the way of the final anti-Christ to rise.
