I can't recall the last time i didn't eat for even one day without gettin all sore and joint ridden with pains, and feeling down right yuk !
Too me, that i'm on my 2nd day of fasting, and haven't gotten the soreness i would usually get, is one awesome testimony to me that Jesus looks after you and answers prayers! I must say the first day i was gettin headaches :P feeling more tired then usual and all that. But after praying to God that very night and asking Him to strengthen me, He did just that ! This morning i woke up feeling kinda tired n lazii... but i prayed yet again =D that He wake me up! He sure did XD, i came down stairs and felt more awake and enthusiastic then i could ever be, having not eaten for a whole day b4. LOL and well dispite me feeling hungry, i felt like i had heaps of energy just like i would have if i had been eating the day b4. XD Praise to God for that ! XD
LoL its near the end of the day, for my 2nd day of fasting XD on only soup n water, and i do not feel the slightest bit sick ! ONLY HUNGRY XD HAHAHA. I realli can't wait for Sunday to come where i'll be able to experience food with a new desire and thankfulness to God. At the same time.. i wonder if i could continue fasting ! LOL the feeling i had this morning felt like i could prolly do this fast for longer then 3 days ! If God so helps me i can do anything XD if He so answered my prayer n strengthened me, there is no doubt that if i had attempted a one week fast He would have made me pull through all the way ! Hehe but that fast can come a little later !
I realised it also helps if you have friends that have been through fasting, or that u can share your fasting experience with. It helps u get through the time. I would realli like to fast with someone else with experience, to learn just how dedicated i should be when fasting. I know i'm not allowing myself to dedicate my full attention to God during my fast, yet even with my lac
