I need people to confort me... I have been worried and worried about fruitless things such as the 2011 May 21 rumor, and 2012, and it needs to stop.

It's not that I'm just worried, it has been getting to me emotionally recently, mentally unabling me.

I love God, and I love Jesus, but this is just...

I need some calming down, and a hoard of people to tell me these doomsday predictions aren't real are what I really need...

Thank you so much...

Kiniest.

Disregard Any Date

First off disregard anyone who gives you a date of the Rapture, end of the world etc. The Bible tells us even those who are in the very presence of God, do not know when these things will transpire. As far as the scholar giving the date of May 21, 2011, he seems to overlook this fact.

Will you believe a date given by pagans over what God says in his Word which is the whole truth & nothing but the truth??

You are correct when you say this is not good for me. Worry is a forerunner of fear & fear is a tool of Satan. For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power & of love & of a sound mind...2 Timothy 1:7 Fear involves torment 1 John 4:18....We are told over & over in the Word of God to fear not. It is God who is in control & not dates that man has said certain things will happen. Set your mind on heavenly things & not the things of earth that are man made & erroneous things.

Beware of False Prophets

I have been thinking about those who gives dates for certain events.

As everyone knows the earth does not share the same time so when giving a date do these dates mean those who are in Asia for then it would be another day for those in the USA and vice versa if the timeline was for the USA. Or is this time for those in Australia or Africa & again the day would be different in the USA than the date the false prophet proposes.

We are told to "Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves"...Matthew 7:15..."Beloved do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1
