The power in your words

Words – the Key to a Better Life

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit" (Proverbs 18:21)

Is there really power in your words?

According to the Scriptures, the tongue has a power. Notice it says here, "the power of the tongue". Its obvious that the power referred to here is not the physical power of the tongue as a muscle, but the power of the words it produces. I've never heard of the word "tongue" used in relation to God Himself. Its a word used of human speech. So we can see that the Word of God is saying that our speech is tremendously important, powerful and significant. So much so that our words are a matter of life and death. Perhaps this is why Jesus declared, "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment." (Matthew 12:36). "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." (Matthew 12:37). These declarations of Jesus Christ should cause us to sit up and take notice, and consider very carefully what kind of words are coming out of our mouths and why. read more »

Praising God - what can it do in and for you?

 

When I was at church yesterday evening, a word came from the Lord through the pastor's wife that He wants us to praise, because those who are worshippers are those who hear the voice of God. If you want direction from the Lord in any area of your life, get into praise. This puts you in such a place in God where you can hear His voice clearer.  read more »

The Incredible Rewards for Faithful Servants of God

Does God have a heart to reward His faithful servants? I just want to encourage those of you out there who are serving Christ with your whole heart. If you are serving for the right reasons you are definitely in line for rewards that are so huge, you cannot begin to fathom them now!

 

"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, The things which God has prepared for those who love Him". 1 Corinthians 2:9

Blessing at my work!!

Dear People of God!!
I would like to share my testimony at my workplace.
I work for a small organisation.We have only two departments, one for Illumination & the other for Control Panels.I'm a part of the latter one.
We were not paid salary for November due to shortage of finances in our company.One day my boss had called to give me some work & in his conversation i could feel that he was struggling to pay our salaries & other payments (inspite of we working hard). read more »
