The Promise of Relationship with God - 1 John 2:25-28

If we abide in Jesus and stick with the gospel of the apostles, we will have direct access to God. God has promised us a thrilling relationship with Himself through the Holy Spirit.

Eternal Life is defined in John 17:3 to be the ongoing experiential knowledge of God Himself, and of Jesus Christ. The Anointing we have been given by God makes this possible. The Holy Spirit teaches us how we can be close to God, and how to live to please God and do His will.
