Teaching on Faith

"Without faith it is impossible to please God" (Hebrews 11:6). Jesus never told anyone "your skepticism has made you well". We would do well therefore to adopt a childlike, trusting attitude towards God and His promises, knowing that circumstances are subject to change, but God's integrity is not.

Through faith and patience (endurance) we will inherit the promises if we do not give up.

Scriptures telling us to Be Courageous

"Be of good courage." (Numbers 13:20)

The failure of 10 of the spies to obey this commandment cost them their lives and cost the Israelites 40 long years in the wilderness.

Deut 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."

We are not permitted to fear our spiritual or natural enemies because Almighty God is the One who goes with us. He will not leave us or forsake us.
