I have found something in the public domain so inspiring that I have posted it on this blog. As a young man from a wealthy family in the Punjab, Sadhu Sundar Singh was desperate for peace - something he could not find through his own prayers and devotions through following the teachings in his own Sikh holy book, The Granth, or in the Hindu vedas or even in the Qu'ran - though he knew much of these by heart. He hated and despised Christianity and even burned a Bible at school, considering it a religion of foreigners. He was most unhappy because the true knowledge of God eluded him. read more »

"... knowing that you were called for this purpose, that you may inherit a blessing. " (1 Peter 3:9)

It is really important to God that YOU inherit a blessing! Its not something to be ashamed of or to apologize for. On the contrary, it is central to God's purpose for your life! The Scriptures declare it, and so when you as one of God's people are blessed, then God Himself is glorified.

God wants you to be blessed, even in ways you have never known before. We can get more of an idea of God's purpose when we consider one of the main reasons Jesus died on the cross and suffered for us. read more »

The apostle Paul here states that we are engaged in a warfare, and that we have weapons with which we must fight. As Paul states in Ephesians 6:12, our fight is not with flesh and blood, with people, but with the host of demons that work to defile, destroy, harrass, tempt and enslave mankind. read more »

Man Saved from Sexual Addiction

This testimony is about my husband and how he got free from sexual addiction. He came from a religious family (controlling). He became addicted to porn and masturbating. His family almost broke us up soon after marriage, and I was so upset all the time, he felt rejected by me. He used it as a comfort, so he went back to the porn and masturbation. He had had a problem with it in the past, but it had been fine up to this point when he felt rejected. Then it got BAD. against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against
spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12)

Real Christians are involved in a spiritual conflict. This is a fight in which guns and tanks are of no use. Paul said, "we do not wrestle against flesh and blood".
