Unbelief in Believers

Once the disciples of Jesus failed to cast a demon out of a boy. I wonder what we would have concluded about it. Jesus told his disciples plainly that the reason for their failure to cast the demon out of the epileptic boy was their unbelief, due to their lack of prayer and fasting. (Matthew 17:20)

Today many Christians are offended at any teaching which implies that they may have unbelief. But Jesus was constantly rebuking his disciples for their unbelief, and "little faith".

If you can get free of unbelief, you will be of all Christians, most fruitful, and most pleasing to the Lord. read more »

Power over Demons

"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." (Luke 10:19).

It was a major breakthrough for me when I discovered that demons were really at work in my life, and the life of others around me, and that I could get free of them by applying the principles mentioned on this site. Any Christian who learns to cast out demons will be far more effective in their service for the Lord. read more »

Pride vs Humility

If anyone has a right to be proud, it must be God. After all, He created the world without any help from you or me. He Himself is uncreated, eternal, and utterly faultless. If you think there is a problem with God, you are just showing your ignorance. He Himself dwells in unapproachable light, He is mighty, glorious, perfect in beauty and splendour, ominiscient - no one and nothing can compare to Him. He is the only One qualified to be proud. The Best Goal for a Christian - is it YOUR goal?

If you read motivational books, no doubt you have heard of the importance of setting goals. Without setting goals we tend to drift and we don't achieve great results. Without strong goals all we tend to do is "get by".

Some motivational books encourage us to choose any goal we like. Could be a large house in a good neighborhood paid off, or a certain kind of car, or holiday. It might be a career achievement. The books then go on to give you some principles through which you can achieve your stated goals. read more »

Our God is a living God, and He longs to get involved in people's lives. For some reason, God has chosen to use us, His people, to be the agents through whom He will reach out and touch the world. Everything was provided for us all to come back to God, overcome satanic oppression and enjoy God's favor - be it in forgiveness, healing, provision or relationships. God is the Awesome Creator of the Universe. He made the universe, and then chose a tiny speck on it to host His most special creation - human beings. The many things that are unique to the earth and unique in our human DNA and makeup point to the design of a Loving Creator.

The Bible teaches that God is love. God loves you. He wants you to enjoy His love. The greatest fulfillment that anyone can know is to give and receive God's love. We were made by God for that. read more »

Get Blessed!

"... knowing that you were called for this purpose, that you may inherit a blessing. " (1 Peter 3:9)

It is really important to God that YOU inherit a blessing! Its not something to be ashamed of or to apologize for. On the contrary, it is central to God's purpose for your life! The Scriptures declare it, and so when you as one of God's people are blessed, then God Himself is glorified.

God wants you to be blessed, even in ways you have never known before. We can get more of an idea of God's purpose when we consider one of the main reasons Jesus died on the cross and suffered for us. read more »
