These are the last days, and we are living in the spiritually perilous times predicted by the apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. People are lover of self, money and pleasure yet hold a form of Christianity, thinking that having this form is enough.

It is significant because these are the amongst the last recorded words of the apostle Paul. In the next and last chapter of 2 Timothy, Paul writes: read more »

Warnings

God said that in the last days there would be perilous times. God's Word is full of warnings, as well as promises. There are two sides to God. One is His great love for you, and the other is His severity. He warns you there will be consequences for certain kinds of things. Satan's deceptions try to convince you that God is lying on both counts. Its wiser to trust God.

Delivered from Mormon Deception

Michael, thank you for your insight on whether or not Christians can have demons. I appreciate that there are Christians who will take my experience at face value rather than wondering if I was truly a Christian when this devil entered me. I know there is great controversy on this subject among Christian scholars but for those of us who have experienced deliverance, there is no question as to whether or not a Christian can have a demon. read more »

False Prophets and False Teachers

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits." (Matthew 7:15,16).

This is the commandment of Jesus. Ignore it at your peril.

Many ministers of the gospel start off well, with a genuine call of God. But somewhere along the line, Satan comes in with an offer, just as he did to Jesus. read more »

Christian TV channels should NOT support false prophets and teachers

As someone who is involved in setting up Christian TV channels, I feel it is important to state that FINANCIAL REALITIES DO NOT TRUMP GOD'S COMMANDS NOT TO BE PARTNERS WITH FALSE PROPHETS/TEACHERS.

In other words, just because a certain preacher can raise a lot of money from people on TV and can pay handsomely for TV time, does not mean that it is God's will that his or her message be heard on TV.

The influence of Television is Massive. True Christians SHOULD be aiming to get hold of this medium. read more »

False Prophets

Jesus himself warned us to beware of false prophets (Matthew 7:15). In Matthew 24:11 he says concerning the last days:

"Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many."

And in verse 24:

"For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect."

Now I am not always right. I am happy to admit this. read more »

Your Money Perish with you!

Simon was a sorcerer who had impressed the people of Samaria with his occultic powers for a long time. But when he heard the gospel and saw the power of God moving through Philip the evangelist - especially in miraculous healing and deliverance from evil spirits, he believed and was baptized. I wish the story had ended there concerning this man, but it does not. read more »

Choo Thomas - Heaven is so real

I just finished watching a video of this Choo Thomas talking about "Heaven is so Real". I am a pentecostal and believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and have witnessed many powerful manifestations of God, but in my view, these revelations are not of God.

Its not that I believe that its impossible for a believer to visit heaven or hell in this life. I believe its happened in some cases and I've even helped publicise such accounts.

Choo Thomas of course includes Scripture and gospel truth in her account, and this no doubt will give the message some credibility. read more »

The Danger of Islam

If Islam is true, then Christianity is false and all who die as Christians will burn in hell forever along with all others who finally reject islam. If the Christianity of the Bible is true, however, then Islam is definitely false, and all muslims who die as muslims will burn in hell forever, having rejected the only Way by which their sins may be forgiven. The issue is therefore serious, since it involves the beliefs of about 1/3 or more of the world's population. read more »
