Unbelief

Fearing is a Sin

Although fear is a spirit, it is also a sin against the God who rightly commands us not to fear. If we have placed our trust in God through Christ, God has promised not to abandon us. Is it right to doubt God's word on this? Don't we believe that God is willing and able to help us if we trust Him and take hold of the provisions he gives us? It is a sin against God to fear evil. It is a sin to fear what evil men or devils can do, God commands us in many places "Fear not!" God promises to protect us and ultimately get us to heaven. read more »

Basic Witnessing

INTRODUCTION

These days, its not hard to find plenty of things to do. Even as Christians, we may find ourselves under constant pressure to do so many things. Bills to pay, business to do and family commitments all take time. The worries of life may be crowding into our minds.

Meanwhile, the emphasis of the church is normally upon attending more meetings. Church services, prayer meetings, conventions, choir practice, youth nights, board meetings - the list goes on and on. read more »

I'm at the end of myself....

I'm at a complete end...I'm not sure where to go with this. This is probably gossip, but I have no choice, I need help.

It is one of the worst enemies to deal with. read more »

Prayers and Confessions Based on the Word

"His divine power HAS GIVEN to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."
(2 Peter 1:3,4).

Unbelief in Believers

Once the disciples of Jesus failed to cast a demon out of a boy. I wonder what we would have concluded about it. Jesus told his disciples plainly that the reason for their failure to cast the demon out of the epileptic boy was their unbelief, due to their lack of prayer and fasting. (Matthew 17:20)

Today many Christians are offended at any teaching which implies that they may have unbelief. But Jesus was constantly rebuking his disciples for their unbelief, and "little faith".

If you can get free of unbelief, you will be of all Christians, most fruitful, and most pleasing to the Lord. read more »
