Definition: by the spirit of religion we mean that group of evil spirits which inspire loyalty to religious concepts and practices in such a way as to oppose and possibly to counterfeit the true work of the Holy Spirit.

Satan knows he cannot stop people from being religious. He therefore seeks to pervert the religious instinct of mankind by deception. We like to believe in our christian heroes, especially those who seem to be so much more anointed than your average Christian. But with greater exposure comes greater accountability. The ability to raise funds and buy lots of TV time does not constitute God's endorsement. If raising money was proof of God's favour, then the Roman Catholics, the Mormons and the various gurus like Sathya Sai Baba would clearly have God's favour even more than the most "anointed" televangelist. read more »

The apostle Paul here states that we are engaged in a warfare, and that we have weapons with which we must fight. Beware of date setting and casting lots

Recently I drew attention to the prophecy of Dr David Uwuor concerning an impending tsunami and earthquake to hit the east coast and north west of Australia respectively. I made it clear that Dr Uwuor did not set a date, however, there were other people who had received various messages and confirmations that there would be earthquakes and tsunamis around the coasts bordering the Pacific ocean on September 3 (USA time). read more »
