Commitment to Minister in God's Power

Ministrying God's Power for the Glory of God

Its not just enough to do it at the level of my personal convenience! I must be ministering in God's power faithfully with the gift to the best of the ability which God gives me.

Always, in every encounter, people must see the love of Jesus in me.

I must be passionately motivated by the glory and honour of God.

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Cor. 10:31)

Confessions on Strength

It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect. Ps 18.32

The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. Ps 29.11

In quietness and confidence shall be my strength. Is 30.15

I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Eph 6.10

I have put on the complete armour of God. Eph 6.11

God gives power to the weak. And to those who have no might, He increases strength. Is 40.29

Thanking God for His Goodness

Prayers of Thankfulness Concerning God's Goodness and Generosity

Thank you Father that you are good, and that your mercy is everlasting. (Psalm 100:5).

Thank you Lord that you are very compassionate and merciful. (James 5:11)

Thank you Father that every good and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from You, Father. (James 1:17).

Father, I thank you that your divine power has given me all things that pertain to life and godliness. (2 Peter 1:3).

Prayers asking for Grace to be Thankful

Dear Holy Spirit, help me:

- in everything to give thanks, for this is the will of God for me in Christ Jesus. I don't want to grieve You through ingratitude.

- to let the peace of God rule in my heart, to which I was also called in one body; and to be thankful. (Colossians 3:15)

- to offer to God thanksgiving, and pay my vows to the Most High. Teach me to call upon God in the day of trouble; He will deliver me and I will glorify Him. (Psalm 50:14,15)

The Way of Praise

PRAISE

Through Jesus I continually offer to God the sacrifice of praise, the fruit of lips which confess His name.

I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

My tongue shall speak of God's righteousness and of His praise all the day long.

Commitment to Worship

I shall worship the Lord my God, and Him only shall I serve. (Matthew 4:10)

I am a true worshipper, and worship the Father in spirit and in truth for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

I shall love the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my strength, and with all my mind, and my neighbour as myself. (Luke 10:27)

Endurance

I am strengthened with all might, according to the Lord's glorious power, for all patient endurance and longsuffering with joy! (Colossians 1:11)

Confessions on Faith

I have the faith of God. Mk 11.22

I am a believer in Jesus Christ. Whoever believes in Jesus Christ shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Out of my belly shall flow rivers of living water. The works that Christ did I shall do also, and greater works shall I do, because Christ has gone to the Father. (John 3:16; John 7:37; John 14:12)

I do not doubt in my heart, but believe that those things I say will come to pass, and I will have whatever I say. Mk 11.23

Humbling Oneself and Walking in Humility

THE NEED TO HUMBLE MYSELF

He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to humble yourself to walk with your God. Mic 6.8

Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, SHOWING ALL HUMILITY TO ALL MEN. Titus 3.1 3.2

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. read more »
