Money and Responsible Handling of Resources

Our series of studies would not be complete without considering the principles by which a true disciple of Jesus should be guided in the matter of responsibly and biblically handling the natural resources which God has given to each one. In this study we will consider Biblical principles that apply to the way we handle the time, money and talents we have received from God. Kings AND Priests

"To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen." (Revelation 1:5,6)

Jesus not only washed us from our sins in His own blood, but He has also lifted us up to two very important offices. The believer has the potential to operate as BOTH a king and a priest to God. One of the fundamental revelations of the Reformation was 'the priesthood of all believers' but I believe the Reformers themselves had a very limited idea of what this means. read more »

Tithing

Hie guys I used to believe in tithing but through reading the bible I feel that we as new testament believers are not obliged to tithe but to give offerings cheerfully.
I also think that ithing makes some people proud (especially if some in the church do not tithe)
How do you see it?
Tithe was mearnt for the Levites because they did not have land.
Malachi accused the Priest of robbing God not the people.
