Love of money

Strategic Intercession

All of us are called to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). We are called to pray always and not lose heart (Luke 18:1). Yet God is ALSO interested in the quality and effectiveness of our prayer lives.

Jesus taught us to pray, "Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." The most effective prayers then are those that bring a manifestation of God's will as revealed in the Scriptures to the situations on earth.

God wants none to perish and be lost. read more »

PRAYER OF RELEASE FOR MASONS AND THEIR DESCENDANTS

If you or someone you love is a descendant of a Mason, I recommend that you pray through the following prayers from your heart. Don't be like the Masons -please read it through first so you know what is involved. It is best to pray aloud with a Christian witness or counsellor present.

"Father God, creator of heaven and earth, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. I come as a sinner seeking forgiveness and cleansing from all sins committed against You, and others made in Your image. read more »

Two Versions of the Gospel

In the evangelical/pentecostal churches there are actually two different versions of gospel being presented by people who would claim they take the Word of God as their authority in faith and practice. Handle Money Right, and Hate Mammon if you want to Enter Heaven!

Please read Luke 16:1-14, which is the parable of the Unjust Steward, and some sayings of Jesus on the subject of money and Mammon. I am going to quote from it in this piece, but for your own sake, as this is such an important thing, I encourage you to read the whole thing. read more »

Some thoughts on The Love of Money

The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil IN THE CHURCH. Not only outside the church.

........................................

Money is the accepted means of exchange for "might" and "power". People will go to work for you in exchange for money, they will sell their "might" and "power" to you for money. But God says, "It is NOT by might, NOT by power - but BY MY SPIRIT says the Lord". The love of money is what has been pushing the Holy Spirit and His gifts out of the pentecostal churches.
