Who is Satan?

Satan (otherwise known as the devil) is the original enemy of God who rebelled at the foundation of the earth. He is the one ultimately responsible for all the deception that exists in this world. He has deceived many to disbelieve in his existence, though both serious Christians and well-informed devil worshippers both know he exists. He is a personal being, and has been both seen and heard by many people. He can use many forms - including that of an "angel of light".

It is not surprising therefore that Satan has lately tried to convince many he is not all that bad - another deception. read more »

Unbelief in Unbelievers

Unbelief is a spirit which causes people to reject what God says is true. The more we can get unbelief concerning God's promises out of our own hearts, the more we will be effective in destroying it in those who do not yet believe. Unbelief binds the hand of God. It is one of the worst enemies to deal with. read more »

God's Standards vs Man's Standards

Getting Ready for Eternal Judgment

There is coming a day soon when I will give an account of my life to Jesus Christ. This day is coming for you also. Paul, writing to believers in Rome, said,

"So then each of us shall give account of himself to God". read more »

Repentance from Dead Works

Introduction

In previous lessons, we have seen the wonderful provision that God has made for us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We have seen that this work of God for us was designed to reverse all the effects of man's rebellion against God. All the bad things that we deserve were put on Jesus at the cross, while all the blessings of the Kingdom that belong to Jesus we share in through the cross and the resurrection.  read more »

The Law and Judgments of God

Introduction

Since the rebellion in the garden, all mankind have been born with a rebellious nature which is inclined to reject what is good and wise and choose what is evil and foolish.

"There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God. They have all gone out of the way; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no not one." (Romans 3:10-12)  read more »

The Devil

WE BELIEVE in the personality of the devil who, by his influence, brought about the downfall of man, and now seeks to destroy the faith of every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ – Gen 3:1-15; Matt 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13; James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:8; John 13:2.

Introduction

Apart from the Godhead, no other personality is given as much coverage in the Bible as the devil. Whereas it is important not to give the devil undue prominence, the Scriptures also tell us not to be “ignorant of his devices” (2 Cor 2:11).

The Fall of Man

WE BELIEVE: that man was created by God by a specific, immediate act and his image and likeness morally upright and perfect, but fell by voluntary transgression. Consequently, all men are separated from original righteousness, being depraved and without spiritual life. Gen 1:26-31; 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21.

Introduction.

The first three chapters of Genesis give us a detailed account of the creation of this world and the creation of man. What is quite clear is the perfection of God's creation; everything was good. read more »

Salvation of Man

WE BELIEVE salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. This experience is also known as the new birth and is an instantaneous and complete operation of the Holy Spirit whereupon the believing sinner is regenerated, justified, and adopted into the family of God and becomes a new creation in Christ Jesus, (Titus 2;11; 3:5-7; 1 Peter 1:23; 1 John 5:1) and an heir of eternal life.

Introduction.

The central message of the gospel is, "How man can be saved". read more »

Evangelism

Love is the true spirit of evangelism. We should warn people about the danger of hell as if they were our own children walking on the brink of a volcano. - Reinhard Bonnke
