Restore those who sin in a spirit of gentleness

 

As Christians, we are to be caring for one another. We are all in a battle with the world, the flesh and the devil. And there are times when Christians fall into deliverate sin. Trespasses are serious sins. Paul is talking to Christians here. He says, "Brethren, ...". This should make it pretty clear that it is possible for Christians to sin seriously (most of us realise that, but there are extreme positions which claim sinlessness is normal for Christians). read more »

You will reap what you sow - Galatians 6:7

People who believe that there is no cause and effect with God are simply fooling themselves. You cannot fool God. The way we think, the way we speak and the way we act - everything we do internally or externally, every choice we make, is a form of SOWING. Whatever seed we plant will certainly result in a harvest. We reap the same kind of thing that we sow, only in greater measure. As even the people of the world say, "What goes around, comes around". We may be able to harvest the results of our seed early or later. read more »
