Prayers for Spiritual Fullness

Lord, fill us with your Spirit just like you want us to be! (Ephesians 5:18)

Lord, bless us with hunger and thirst for righteousness, and fill us (Matt. 5:6)

Grant us, O God, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with might through Your Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. (Eph. 3:16-17) read more »

Service - Section I

The Disciple,—Master, what is the real meaning of service? Is it that we serve the Creator and then His creatures for His sake? Is the help of man, who is after all but a mere worm, of any value to God in caring for His great family, or does God stand in need of the help of man in protecting or preserving any of His creatures?

The Master,—1. Service means the activity of the spiritual life and is the natural offering prompted by love. read more »

Basic Witnessing

INTRODUCTION

These days, its not hard to find plenty of things to do. Even as Christians, we may find ourselves under constant pressure to do so many things. Bills to pay, business to do and family commitments all take time. The worries of life may be crowding into our minds.

Meanwhile, the emphasis of the church is normally upon attending more meetings. Church services, prayer meetings, conventions, choir practice, youth nights, board meetings - the list goes on and on. read more »

I am commanded by God to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit. Eph 5.18

I hunger and thirst for righteousness, and I am filled. Mt 5.6

I believe that God grants me, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may actually dwell in my heart through faith. Eph 3.16 3.17

Being rooted and grounded in love I may be able to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that I may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Eph 3.18

Even when full I thirst for more of God and I come to Jesus and drink. read more »

Keys to Overcoming Sin

A major part of spiritual warfare is resisting the devil's enticement's to compromise on God's principles. We give the powers of darkness a definite advantage when we do anything that actually compromises the intimacy of our fellowship with God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit. Worldliness is anything attitude or occupation that makes your heart just a little colder towards the Lord. read more »

What the Blood of Jesus Does for Me

Father, I confess all my sins to You [name them]. Thank you that You are faithful and just to forgive me all my sins and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). I choose to forsake these sins by your grace alone.

I thank you Lord Jesus that your blood cleanses my conscience from dead works to serve the living God. (Hebrews 9:14)
I thank you Father that my heart is sprinkled from an evil conscience by the blood of Jesus. (Hebrews 10:22)

Thank You Lord that In You I have redemption through Your blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of Your grace. read more »

Confessions about the Name of Jesus

God has highly exalted Jesus and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth. As the Father sent Jesus, so Jesus sends me to go and do everything in His name. (Philippians 2:9-10; John 20:22; Colossians 3:17) All authority has been given to Jesus in heaven and on earth. read more »
