It seems that there are more and more juvenile sex offenders. One psychologist describes it as an epidemic.
Psychologists blame it on "a society rife with sexuality and violence".
Now that sexual assaults by youngsters, even those still at kindergarten, are being reported, something I never heard of 10 or 20 years ago, I think we should ask if the psychologists who blame it on a society rife with sexuality and violence are correct.
Children tend to copy what they see, and what kids are seeing today is not good.
Christians should be getting involved in the media, so we can present an alternative. I myself certainly am, through both television and internet.
We are so keen on protecting the right to pornographers of so called "freedom of speech" that we are destroying the respect of others that is foundational to any workable society.
Any move to regulate pornography on the internet, or to move it into some kind of corner like .xxx is fiercely resisted by these people and the people under their influence. Pornographers know that if they can hook children on their products while they are pre-adolescent they will most likely have them as customers for life.
The love of money therefore is behind this.
Since the mere sight of pornography can stir up a man sexually, I would liken it to a kind of sexual assault on our senses. Even if it doesn't involve a physical touch, it does stir up emotions and chemicals in most males. Of course, it would not do that once you are so accustomed to seeing such things that only really bizarre, twisted or violent expressions of pornography do it for you.

Younger Sexual Offenders
I am a Christian counselor and I have seen victims of sexual assault by other children and also the young sexual offenders. I believe that there is a tremendous rise in this especially since the drug culture and pornograpy. These young offenders have little if any understanding of the consequences of their actions for themselves or their victims. This comes for the deception of the enemy. Pornography is not "freedom of speech". We as Christian must love, forgive and instill in others, especially children the "law of the harvest". God teaches loving consequences and so should we.
