Scriptural warnings

There are many verses in the Bible that give serious warnings.

Like, you will go to hell if you don't quit sinning deliberately.

God help you if your theology tells you that because you are a Christian you don't have to pay attention to these warnings. God has given them so that you do not suffer eternal and temporal loss. Respect God enough to listen, take not and take heed.

Joseph Prince - Antinomian Megastar and Teacher of Lawless Grace

Entering the local Koorong Christian bookstore yesterday, I immediately noticed a book with an attractive looking young Asian man on the cover. The picture was of Joseph Prince, the title of the book, "Destined to Reign", and the subtitle went as follows: "The secret to effortless success, wholeness and victorious living." read more »

Fallen Teachers become False Teachers - 2 Peter 2

We've been looking at some of the characteristics of False Teachers in recent studies. This evening I'd like to point out something the Bible says about them which should cause us all to take heed, especially if any of us are in any sense Bible teachers or teachers of the people of God. read more »

Racing to enter Eternal Life

The Race and Pathway to enter Eternal Life

By C. Marie, author of The Holy Spirit and Christian Testimonies, www.theholyspiritacts.com

Life is a hard struggle where we constantly have to suffer and deal with different types of stressful confrontations that keep coming to us on constant flowing machine-like belts that unfortunately get presented to us, individually. read more »

Be Warned from the Example of the Israelites

Just Because you have Been Baptized in Water and the Holy Spirit Does Not Mean you will Make it to Heaven!!

The Fact that you have Walked with Christ and God's People does not ensure your salvation!

Dearly Beloved, the Bible says: "He who endures to the end shall be saved." Matthew 24:13. Jesus never promised eternal life to those who "once believed". It is only promised to those who [present tense] believe, or keep on believing. read more »

How People Become False Prophets

Jesus told us to watch out for false prophets. If they were powerless to deceive born again Christians, I don't think Jesus would have told us to "take heed".

In this article, I show how true Christians can become false prophets. The Bible clearly shows that there are men who start off hearing and obeying the LORD God, who end up as soothsayers and destroyers of God's people.

The New Testament warns us in 2 Peter 2 and the Book of Jude to watch out for arrogant, money loving preachers. Paul warned us against the times when people would heap up teachers who tell them what their itching ears want to hear. You won't hear too many expositions of these passages on Christian TV today. What a pity, they were never more needed. read more »

The Most Valuable Thing you can have

I wonder what you consider the most valuable thing you can have? Some would say, "family". Certainly, Family is very valuable. A lot more people when it gets down to it really value "pleasure" even more. That is why, if the marriage is miserable, many people will eventually adopt the attitude that divorce is the solution. By divorcing, they hope to have the chance to rebuild a happy life again. The love of pleasure can manifest itself in thousands of different ways. There is no doubt that for many, it is the supreme value. And doubtless many of those people would call themselves Christians also.

For some, money is the supreme value. Now I know that as Christians we would never say it so openly. But as the saying goes, "Actions speak louder than words". What are we really spending most of our effort on, if not for money? read more »

Satan's desire is to lead the whole world astray!

Satan's desire is to lead the whole world astray!
Don't let Satan lead you but be led by Spirit of God
(Romans 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.)

You must be sensitive to the power of the Holy Spirit. Learn to listen to the wooing and the correction of the Holy Spirit. You will learn to recognize His soft voice so He can speak to you daily directing you on the pathway of righteousness. We must listen to Holy Spirit or we will fall prey to the misleading voice of satan. read more »
