Casting Out Demons - Some Lessons from Mark 1:21-28

Jesus is our example. A big part of his ministry was in casting out demons. When the presence of the Lord is manifesting strongly enough, the demons in people start to stir up. Demons often have better knowledge and theology than those who are listening to the message, as we see from this passgae. read more »

Lakeland Deception is Serious

Its sad to say folks, but nowadays many of the leaders in the charismatic movement can no longer be trusted. The love of money, influence, fame, power and zany spiritual experiences has, for many of them, overcome the love of truth, integrity - actually the love for the true God. Whether this expresses itself as endorsement for bizarre and unbiblical practices, support for America's imperial wars of destruction and mayhem, or enthusiasm for Roman Catholic spirituality - the truth is that we are going to have to choose between following Jesus and following these leaders. read more »

Satanic Tactics

"... for we are not ignorant of his devices." (2 Corinthians 2:11)

Paul and his close co-workers made it their business not to be ignorant of Satan's devices. This does not mean that Paul spent a lot of time researching all the dark secrets of Satan's kingdom. No. Paul said to the Romans, "I want you to be wise in what is good, but simple (innocent) concerning evil. And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly" (Romans 16:19). Honestly, we don't need to be "au fait" with all the latest conspiracy theories and what Satan may or may not be doing (Isaiah 8:12,13). read more »

You must trust that all things work together for your benefit

I am looking over my journal January 3, 2007 and the word that came from the Lord to me..I had been suffering from a major organized attack from Satan that began in August 2006 and came to point of trying to destroy me spiritually...I am still in the warrior mode and I knew that everything that I was going through was for my growth. The Lord told me on January 3 to draw closer closer closer so close to Him that there were no gaps within...Many are called but few are chosen...My life was not to be my own...Die out to self, die out to temptation die out to desires ...Die out to desires that the read more »

The Bible says that False Teachers are going to have a big following! 2 Peter 2:2

2Pe 2:1  But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

2Pe 2:2  And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.

The Enemy

From The Holy Spirit and Christian Testimonies, by C. Marie, www.theholyspiritacts.com

This is the Enemy’s world. He rules from his lies, deceptions, and temptations, as pride, hate, greed, lust, and envy are his baits.

1 John 3:8, “... For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”

Not all people who seem “Christianly” are true men and women of God. read more »

Satan's plans to Rule through Money Creation

"The love of the money is the root of all kinds of evil," said the apostle Paul in 1 Timothy 6:10. Is it any surprise then that the control of money is a key element in the strategies of Satan in his goal to gain the worship of the people of the world, directly or indirectly? read more »

The Big Lies of Satan

The biggest and most fundamental lie that Satan and his demons promote - both to believers and non-believers alike is this: that there is something more important right now than seeking relationship, intimacy and communion with God through Jesus Christ and the fulness of the Holy Spirit. We could call this lie the lie to promote distraction from relationship with God. If someone persists in an undistracted relationship with God for more than a few days Satan's losses already will be immense. read more »
