I am in doubt about how Luke 12:52-53 (see belove) which deals with family relation should be interpreted. What I search is the reason why Jesus said this. If there had been a reason mentioned like: this will happen because you break the first commandment, I would understand it,
but there is none. Why did Jesus not give an explination or at least an instruction about how to relate to his words about this specific issue (actually he may have done and something may have been lost)? read more »
