Hi

I just want to see if this network is still active. I just noticed I don't see any post past Sept. or October of last year. I thank God that His people are taking back social media and using it for His glory and to edify one another in Christ. I am excited and in need of carving out a serious prayer life. The enemy knows my life is full of excuses and he adds to them daily. I am realizing I believe God more than I believe the enemy. I have to put those beliefs in practice and I know prayer is the key.

WE PRAYED FOR YOU TOGETHER!!! Do you know how exciting that is? Michael and I are committed to meeting each day for 15-30 minutes of prayer over Skype, and telephonic internet system that enables him in Australia and me in America to join together for free. I have made the commitment to call in at 7 am my time, which is 9 pm Michael's time, each weekday.

Personally, I had (haven't told Michael this yet...) been longing for someone I could partner up with to help enhance and encourage my prayer life. Then, Michael asked if I would join him in this outreach (or Upreach is more like it) and I couldn't pass it up.

To give you an example of how this works, today we prayed for God to work through the Christian Social Network, through the prayer network, and help us meet the needs on Christian-Faith.com. We prayed for our homes and families. We prayed for those who have recently posted their prayer requests and mentioned you by name and need! We prayed for the persecuted church in Orissa, and around the world - that Christians would be strong in their hour of trial and their families taken care of and encouraged. Time ran out before we knew it!

As we closed, I was encouraged at the thought of taking time with Michael to be in agreement about the healing of your marriages and the provision for your families and the meeting of your spiritual needs. I am learning to pray all over again, and it is a time to cherish.

Please join us as we seek to build up the body of Christ in the earth today. We need each other and this is a simple way to meet that need!

Hi my fellow believer in Christ I would like to be part of this online prayer group that you are establishing. I live here in the Philippines and I dont know if the time zone will allow for us to have a simultaneous available time. But God will work on that I believe.. I have an internet connection at home but dont have a cam yet. I will pray to the Lord that He will give me one. :-)

Before I go, I dont know if this is the right forum, but I have a need that I need for you guys to pray.... Please help me pray that the Lord will deliver us, my family, from financial difficulties that we are experiencing right not... We can hardly pay our monthly utility bills... Please pray with me that nothing can stop the blessing that the Lord has prepared for me and for my family.. (Coz' I have some receivables coming from our company that's more than enough to pay our current financial obligations) and please pray also for city and country that the Lord will open doors for us so that the Gospel of our Lord will continue to be preach in our country...

I want to thank you and brother Michael for your concerns and prayers. I'm really encouraged and motivated by both of you and I hope God will help me fulfill the plan for which He made me. I know I have some specific calling in my life and this is the time for me to prepare. I'm glad God brought me to this website and since one year I've learnt a lot.

How to Register for the Viral Prayer Network

We are trying to figure that out ourselves! (ha) It looks like I will be getting people linked with each other and coordinating. What you need to participate is Skype if linking with others outside your country. There is no need for a webcam.

Prayer partners can talk to each other for free on Skype for 15 minutes a day in prayer. Michael and Anurekha and I meet during the week, for example. I can talk with Michael, but we send the updated list to Anurekha who is able to pray through it at the same time.

Prayer partners can pray together on any of 3 levels if they are able to...

1 - Chat - Skype ( free at www.skype.com )

2- Skype (headset and microphone capabilities required.)

3 - Web Cam, for those who don't mind being seen with bad hair days...

TO GET STARTED

1 - Sign up with Skype and email me your user ID. I will get back to you with a suggested partner or two and you can connect with them and work out a mutual time...(My current group has one from America, Australia, and India - alphabetical order) I am just getting up while Michael is getting ready for bed and Anurekha is at the end of a business day.

2 - Make contact with the person(s) provided and see if your schedules work.

3 - Verify your partners and prayer time.

Groups consist of 2-4 people meeting daily for 15 minutes, more or less as desired.

We recommend you join two prayer groups. We help you plug into one, and you find local prayer partners and form your own local group. Encourage the members of your group to each find another prayer partner or two and have them likewise reach out.... We will only connect men with men and women with women. We recommend two of the same gender in a prayer cell to keep accountability and avoid confusion. If a person drops out and leaves only a male and female, we recommend the group suspends until a third party is found for the prayer group.

I call a man locally and we pray 15 minutes and then I Skype Michael and Anurekha right after that.

For me, I have noticed a greater ability to focus on the Lord during the day and a release into greater ministry.

I really want to thank you for this section where we can have social networking as well viral prayer network. This is going to be the best thing on this website.

I appreciate your effort. I feel God had answered one of my prayer because since past few months I wanted to tell you to open a section like this, but thought you might be very busy with your works as well wondered that whether this idea will be feasible to you. But, see God had put it in your heart too and that's really amazing and I'm sure this is going to be a blessing to many people. Also, our sincere prayers will definitely bring forth a Revival in this world; it's my greatest desire to see a change in Christianity today where most of the Christians are lukewarm. The message of salvation need not only be preached but practiced too. It should become a way of life rather than a part of life.

I believe God answers every prayer that is been prayed in complete faith.
