Prophecy of Dr Owour about war between South and North Korea starting to be fulfilled

Dr Owuors prophecy of WAR breaking out in KOREA given 30 June 2010, is now starting to be fulfilled.

He was shown 4 elements

- a cross border firefight (fulfilled yesterday)

- a rain of missiles striking and sinking a large
warship

- a missile striking and knocking out an electricity centre
...causing a blackout and much panic

- and many tanks on the roads because war has broken out.

God is calling for Repentance in Korea, & also in Australia. The Korean prophecy was given just one month before the Australia prophecy - which mentions earthquakes and tsunamis.

Have a look on youtube at the prophecy about North and South Korea war at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMQzNZpApL4&playnext=1&list=PL4156FB0FEBA0C693&index=14

I'm confused!!!! Dr. Uwuor prophecy for South Korea?

I thought that all sin was punished through the sacrifice of Jesus. So this prophet is telling the church in South Korea that God is warning them of impending doom on their land, but He will protect them if they repent? What is the reason for this war? Is it Satan getting a foot- hold because of sin in the church??? I thought we( the church) were the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus??? I thought that Jesus removed the barrier from God and man, once and for all. I am being completely sincere, when I say that this is confusing my understanding of grace. I guess Haiti and Chile didn't repent. ?!?!
Is there a recording of his (Dr. Uwuor) message to these countries????

Beloved you are Correct about being sceptical

Obviously this guy is not teaching what the Bible clearly states.

The whole world has been corrupted by Sin and so this world is suffering the consequences of mankind remaining in rebellion against God and rejecting Him. The Bible clearly has recorded that mankind and nations will continue to remain in sin and reject Christ. Only some individuals will accept Christ and be saved, we are the Body of Christ the only one true Church made up of JEWS and Gentiles. Meanwhile even the Saved suffer what is happening in this world. Christians and Sinners alike will go through floods and storms and wars and disease and famine.

God can and does help His Children. Yet many Christians died in WW2 concentration camps along side those who had remained in rebellion against God. Why were the Christians in the camps. How else were these sinners going to hear about Jesus if there were no Christians in there to share the gospel and be witnesses of the Lord? We do not escape all the suffering of this world jsut because we are Saved Believers. Jesus the Son of God(who was totally sinless) suffered here so we should not expcet we would be exempt from what is happening around us. Anyone who teaches the contrary is not teaching according to God's Word.

The only Nation God promised to save is Israel. No other nation has that promise.

The Bible says that manking will continue to get worse in their rebellion against God and that many Believers will fall away. There will be a great Apsostasy the Bible says not a revival. Many will no longer follow Sound Doctrine they will want to follow false teachers and false prophets instead.

We should not expect entire nations in these End Times to come to Jesus because the Bible has prophesied that it will be the opposite. Still there will be many individuals that will repent and be Saved but there is no mention of entire nations.

Jesus warned us of False Prophets and you can know if they are by testing what they are preaching or prophesying. Does what they are saying match up with the Scriptures? Have all their predictions been fulfilled 100% as prophesied. General predictions don't count we can all make good guesses at what will happen in the future, Economists do it all the time based on good observation.

Under another Blog here titles "Floods opf Biblical proportions in Australia" I covered Jesus warning of False Prophets and covered the Old Testament tests to know if some one is a False Prophet or True Prophet of God. If you are interested you can read my recent reply there.

Thanks for your replies Mel C.

I have often had trouble reconciling teachings where Christians will avoid all end time suffering, with how Christians have suffered in recent years. I think the churches in the West have gotten comfortable and the idea of actual suffering has become offensive! The Bible teaches, well promises we will all suffer persecution. I do believe that.
I have a problem with the idea that the church has to repent. I have repented! The moment I did I became the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
How can I add anything to the sacrifice of Jesus by anything I could do?
There is sin in the church( the true believers) , but,

By the which we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all.(Heb.10:10)
This offering wasn't just "once for all people," but "once for all time".

From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made a footstool. For by one offering He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.(Heb. 10:13,14)

So according to these scriptures,I have been sanctified by Jesus, and if I have been sanctified it is forever.
These verses aren't talking about my body or soul, but the part of me that totally changed the moment I was born again-my spirit. I am in the process of renewing my mind according to the truth of God's word. God looks at me Spirit to born-again spirit. He is aware that my body and mind sin, but ,He looks at me in the spirit. If Jesus is my Savior,I am accepted in the Beloved,He sees me perfect, holy, pure, and righteous.
If I choose to sin in my physical body, I invite Satan to come against me with sickness, poverty, calamities, and so forth. But, God's wrath against sin was poured out on Jesus for my sake, and for my sin!

But, I ran across these scriptures:
Ephesians 2:12 talks about our being excluded from citizenship in Israel, and foreigners to the covenant.
Ephesians 2:19 Says that now we are now fellow citizens with God's people and members of His household.
What do you think?

P.S.Sometimes when we read something we can mistake the tone someone is talking ( typing ) in. I just want you to know I am absolutely not being argumentative or think I have any corner on truth, just desire sincere dialog about beliefs. :) :) :)

Jesus dictated 7 letters to 7 churches in the Book of Revelation, and He required repentance of most of them. Sin is unacceptable, and those who knowingly continue in it are not saved no matter how much they profess Jesus' name.

Just a correction, he's not

Just a correction, he's not teaching that, he's only given prophecies where warns nations to repent. He doesn't teach those who are saved will escape such things or suffering or anything like that. Just wanted to clear that up so there's not misrepresenting someone. I don't follow after prophets, but what this man has taught has blessed me with a conviction to 'clean my garments' and 'wake up', and his prophecies have all come true to my knowledge up to now, withstanding the ones that he says are still come to pass.

Well he is still teaching

Well he is still teaching something that we are never called to do in the Bible.

The diciples were charged with taking the gospel to every nation not to get nations to repent. Salvation is for individuals not for countries.

As I said before the only Nation that God promises to save is Israel.

This is often something these Prophets get wrong. Repentance on a national scale, it won't be achieved because the Bible has prophesied that it won't happen.

MT 24:30 "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

Yes Nations will be held accountable by God for certain actions they take. This is evident in the Old Testament where it is prophesied that certain nations will be judged by God for certain sins undertaken by the kings and governments of those nations.

ZEC 14:8 On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea and half to the western sea, in summer and in winter.

ZEC 14:9 The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name.

ZEC 14:10 The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up and remain in its place, from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses. 11 It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.

ZEC 14:12 This is the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. 13 On that day men will be stricken by the LORD with great panic. Each man will seize the hand of another, and they will attack each other. 14 Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected--great quantities of gold and silver and clothing. 15 A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.

ZEC 14:16 Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 17 If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain. 18 If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The LORD will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 19 This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.

We should be encouraging Christians to go out and share the gospel so that people can repent and be saved while there is still time.

MT 24:9 "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

It says the gospel is to be preached to every nation as a testimony. Nothing about nations coming to repentance and being saved as a whole.

JN 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."

The sad truth is not everyone will believe in or receive the Son of God. Some will and we know there are those who do even in the Tribulation. There is no mention of nations coming to Christ.

Sin in the Church

You wrote:

"Is it Satan getting a foot- hold because of sin in the church??? I thought we( the church) were the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus???"

Jesus makes His people holy and righteous; this is not a mirage (aka, positional righteousness), but living reality. Therefore, if Jesus has made one holy, then the flesh is crucified so that he/she will no longer serve sin anymore.

Galatians 5:24 - And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Titus 2:13-14 - Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

So, We are holy and

So, We are holy and righteous, and we don't serve sin anymore. Is this regardless of whether we repent for each new sin? Because that seems like a legalistic mindset.I guess what I was confused about regarding the post I had responded to is this - This prophet says that God has shown him the destruction of various countries, that He( God) is concerned about sin in the church, and if they ( the church in these countries) repent then they could avert said destruction. Now, are these prophecies coming to pass because of the churches sin, and are these destructions the work of Satan or is God punishing sin all over again? I thought his wrath was completely satisfied on Jesus.
Hebrews9:12 talks about our Eternal redemption.Ephesians1:7 defines
redemption as the forgiveness of sin.So, we (the church of Jesus Christ) have eternal forgiveness of sin. Should we pay attention to this "prophet" or not?
I hope I have explained my confusion clearly:)

Holiness and Righteousness

I am paying very close attention to Dr. David Owour. He professes to be a prophet, and at this point I am persuaded to believe him; he preaches repentance and entering into the holiness of the Lord. In addition, there appear to be signs following his preaching, which is consistence with the Word of God; the blind see, the deaf hear and the lame walk -- those afflicted with AIDS are healed too.

Regarding the church, much of it has become a defiled harlot. Sin is par for the course within its body. If anyone mentions holiness and righteousness, they are marked as legalistic or judgmental. While there is real legalism, that does not negate the fact that God desires a holy Church without spot, wrinkle or any such thing; she is to be pure like a chaste virgin.

Ephesians 5
[26] That he might sanctify and cleanse it [the Church] with the washing of water by the word,
[27] That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

If we aren't living and walking in holiness and righteousness through the grace of God, then we don't belong to the Lord, no matter how much we try to delude ourselves.
