Sin and Saints II: The Law -Then and Now.

In the first part, we covered that "sin is the transgression of the law." If we are to go deeper, we must answer "what is the law?" This is where many break off into two camps and our trains of thought diverge. Why? Because their are two sets of law in scripture!

The Old Testament Law and the New Testament Law. read more »

Pray for Cindy

I am helping a lady in dire straits. She has been living in a 5x8' metal trailer and can only come out for 1 hour a day to wash. She eats only one meal every 24-48 hours and her help is failing, with no other to fill the gaps.... so, if she cannot prepare her meal ( a complicated process to accomodate HYPER sensitivity to mold) then the person goes hungry for another day.
Pray for her deliverance and healing. She is having a hard time not losing her mind and holding onto her faith. Her name is Cindy. She needs strongholds broken and her heart healed, as well has her mind and body.
Thanks, read more »

Sin and Saints

Is sin only something you 'do'? or, is it more?

In writing this, I feel as though I am having to answer to a denominational textbook that I have no intention of reading. I am attending a pentecostal church in which I have good standing and am highly regarded by leadership. However, the Bible is my text of choice. Jesus said the proof of his Messiahship was to be found in being in the grave "three days and three nights" as was Jonah. He told the Pharisees, "destroy this temple and in three days, I will raise it up..." to prove the same point. read more »

"Why are your people killing my people?"

Violence against Christianity is totally understandable, when one believes the words of Jesus, who said, "if they have hated me, they will hate you also."  The book of Revelation is very clear that there will be intense persecution and martyrdom of sai read more »

Selfish Christianity

I have come to see more clearly the command of Jesus. He said in Luke 9:23, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it."

"5 A.M." on Skype

I am having a convergence of thoughts as I take this step of faith in writing you. I will share them with you.

Have you ever done something when you were a teenager, when sometimes you would when you just 'up and did something crazy'? Getting up at 5 this morning, I had that sense ... except this actually has VALUE to it! read more »
