Paganism and Occult Religions

Reasons to be a Christian, not a wiccan

There are a lot of young people, young ladies especially, who find the teachings of wicca very appealing and empowering. I thought it interesting to hear one women's view on why she worships Jesus Christ and not "the goddess".

It is important for Christians to understand that wiccans are not satanists. Actually, they do not believe in the existence of Satan. They have a rule that you are not supposed to harm anyone. read more »

Sharing the Gospel with a New Age believer

I decided to go out again and talk with someone else. This time I met a very nice person called Brett, who was busy cleaning his yellow motorbike. After a few comments about motorbikes, I offered him the tract which he accepted.

He was quick to point out that he was a spiritual person and believed in things like that. He told me he was a follower of the New Age movement. read more »

Paganism

I understand that paganism is a growing religious force in the world today. Also, there are quite a number of forms of paganism - Druidism, Wicca, Witchcraft  just to name a few. Could Following Rick Warren Take you to Hell?

Rick Warren is a very affable man who understands a lot of things, not only about the Bible, but also about leading and managing human beings.

He is VERY smooth.

I have read his book "The Purpose Driven Church" which came out well before "The Purpose Driven Life".

Rick Warren doesn't speak in tongues, or allow people to speak in tongues in his megachurch.

To fill the spiritual void this creates, he embraces all kinds of New Age spirituality, teachers and philosophies. The proof is easy to document. read more »

The New Age Movement

Perhaps you are happy to be part of the "New Age movement". Through
meditation, crystals and the development of various occult techniques,
you hope to become a more enlightened individual with a greater "cosmic
consciousness", radiating out positive energy to the environment. You may
believe that God is Everything, and that you are God or are at least on
your way to realising your oneness with deity.

Here are some questions every New-Ager should ask:

"If I am God, why don't I know it? If I do know it, why don't I act
like it? read more »
