My name is Katie. I am 55, live in Raleigh, NC with my husband of 25 years, have 4 biological children and one foster daughter, and two grandchildren. I met Jesus when I was 25 years old. And he is the best thing that ever happened to me.

I grew up in Hyde Park, NY. Within months of my salvation experience my mother, father, sister and brother all came to the Lord as well. My husband got himself a girlfriend. I remarried four years later to my present husband whom I had watched come to the Lord. He was then married. But after his conversion (he was raised Jewish) his wife divorced him. Sometime after he and I were married he had the honor of witnessing her baptism. I am still praying for my ex to meet Jesus.

My husband and I moved to Raleigh 4 years ago after our youngest graduated highschool and moved out. We love living in the south. There are a lot more Christians here : ), there is hardly as much snow, and the cost of living is much lower. Our real estate taxes is 1/3 of what it was in NY.
