I am taking you up on your fasting challenge. I am fasting (Daniel fast) from 3/24 to 3/28. I am asking God to show me who and what to pray for during my fast. I plan on studying God's Word and Praising Him and His Son, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit through pary and worship. Please pray with me that through God's help, I am able to fight temption and weakness throughout my fast.
I have read your call to fasting study and was enlightened by it. May God's continue to bless you and the work that you are doing in His Name.

Fasting for my mother's healing

This site really encouraged me to start fastng for a very specific intention. I am fasting for my mother's healing. She was bitten by a poisonous snake (a viper) on May 16th 2011. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment, and it was then that we found out that she had also suffered a stroke after the snakebite. Thanks to the grace of God, today all the poison has gone from her body, but she is unfortunately still suffering from the stroke. She is totally bedridden and unable to speak, eat (she’s being fed through a tube), breathe (she’s dependant on a tracheotomy tube), walk, etc. She is unable to respond to anything we say (we do not even know if she recognizes us). She is still in the hospital. I believe the only way she can be completely healed is by prayer. Michael, will you please pray with me for her to be healed? Thanks.....Suma

"Father in heaven, Thank you for your love and mercies that are new every morniing. You love us and you are for us, not against us. Thank you for the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, by whose stripes we are healed! Thank you for sparing Suma's mother's life.  We pray for Suma's mother that you would restore her completely from all effects of this stroke. We pray that you would remake all the brain and nerve tissue that have beed destroyed or disconnected. We pray that you would be glorified in Suma's faith and that you would take her faith as an excuse to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we hope and dare to ask. For there is no God like you in the heavens and in the earth. You are our Creator, and you are the Restorer of our souls.  We believe. Help our unbelief. In Jesus' name. amen."

 

 

Walking with boldness against the spirit of being fearful

Greetings in the name of Jesus Michael

In my life i have been always afraid to speak with assurance when it comes to the things around me.

sometime last year i met this guy who seemed like a very nice, caring , loving and fun person to be around.But one day all that changed when he showed his true colours of being a violent person, controlling , demanding to him all these things don't seem to be anything wrong. He says he loves me and I no one leaves him.

But deep down i know nothing is impossible with God, I just need restoration of my

All i want is to get a courage to get out of this relationship as it is slowing me down into the things of God.I feel like my spirit is going down and sometimes i find it hard to come up and be were I was before spiritually.

Please stand with me in prayer into fighting the demon that is stading against me growing spiritually.

FASTING

Me and my friend also started fasting and day 3 is almost over. We both experience attacks from the devil, so we know what we are doing is the right thing. We are fasting for a closer relationship with God, and also for her marriage that is going through deep water at this stage. Please pry with us that we will keep taking a stand for God, for i know He will bless us and give us wisdom like Daniel.

So Michael and all those fasting i will put you on my prayer list, I know God will give you the answers you are looking for !

I just came over your site.... I started yesterdy on
the daniel fast... pretty cool...i ate a piece of bread
with butter and yogurt plain...i don't know if that counts... but i have JUST
all fruits and vegetables and that is way beyond what i have been doing. Now I have no bread.
how long i don't know.... but i am going to
at least do it until Friday... from Monday...

I am trying to overcome a few things lazyness for sure.
I want to head upward and onward with GOD...

i have been getting weird feelings in my head for months.
it seems really odd... and is difficult...
