I'm not sure whether this is a good idea or not. I just thought maybe it will strengthen us all, the idea is how about if we make promise here to set a certain time for us to pray together, so at that time although we not pray in the same location, we might pray at the same time. I mean it will be kind of fellowship.

We could pray for those who post their need to be prayed at the Need for pray thread.

So we'll pray for each other, strengthen each other, as we pray we know that somewhere there are other who care for us and pray with us.

I'm not well learned in Bible so if this is such a bad idea than my apology.

Praying Together Online

I think this is actually a very good idea. There are a few ways to do this as well.

We could set up a paltalk.com chat room that runs at a certain time. This is an audio chat room where everyone can come to the mike. The problem with paltalk is that unless you pay them a yearly fee you get really obnoxious ads all about Britney Spears and other "celebrities" popping up in your face all the time.

Or we could have an instant messenger chat room, using something like Yahoo instant messenger.

I believe I can set up a chat room in this drupal software as well.

What do others think? Who would be interested to come online and pray at least via chat for one another?

I never try to pray through

I never try to pray through chat before..., I don't know if I can do that too, since I don't have connection to internet from home. Most of my online activity done at work, between doing my job. But I'll try to participate as much as I can.

EDIT PS:
Personally I'm trynig to pray every 00:00 right now, somtimes I wake up late and start to pray at 01:00, but I try to keep with this schedule. Usually I listened some praises in the radio, they're playing praises till 03:00, and since there are no other sounds I find it is easier for me to concentrate.

Prayer

I think both ideas are wonderful.
I have Yahoo Instant Messenger, and I would also like to pray at the time provided by Han1977. Many people do not access to a computer at home, so praying during a time frame as Han1977 suggested would be great. Setting up a chatroom will be great tointeract with other members of this site.

What time zone are you in?? I am eastern, being that I live in NY.

Michael, I recall on the older web interface, we were able to view members profiles, and within those profile we were able to post screennames, emails and send private messages.

Can we still do that with this new web set up??

Profiles and Private Messages

This drupal software has modules which can do everything PHPBB could do and MORE. I do have a private message module installed, I need to check if everyone has access to it.

I want to make it so people can post photos of themselves, even make their own personal webspace, blog or whatever. Its just a matter of configuring the software properly.

I better create a username for myself without admin privileges so I can test things properly.

I live in Indonesia, GMT +7 here at my place. I think we have 12 hours difference. I don't mind to add another schedule to pray within a day, lately I find joy through pray. Still sleepy at times though but I found good cures for sleepy, I wash my face with cold water, do me some good for certain time before I'm getting sleepy again :P .
