they want to be saved
there are many pastors that are not saved, and one way they really get in trouble with Jesus is preaching to people saying stuff God will do for them, but has not yet done for the preacher http://www.prophetic.beep.com

not to put you down but if they are a deceiver they are good at what they do so they arent going to just say that, they will probably lie.Honestly I trust my gut and I think God tells me who to trust.It's weird cuz I just know who to trust and I know people I cant trust.Im sure I have made mistakes in the past about people but I think a better option is praying to God so that he shoes you who you can trust.Or I could be completely wrong and judging peoples character is just a skill that you gain over time.IDK could be either of those two or a combination.
