I am interested in learning both Hebrew and Greek - I know....its a long term goal as I have to fit it into my work schedule, but it is a desire of my heart. Can anyone recommend a good, but inexpensive online course or DVD course?????
Each time I study the Word based on either of these languages, it just OPENS up the Word so much!
Also, am wanting a good Bible(
that will help me to learn the Greek interpretation of the NT and the Hebrew interpretation of the OT. Any recommendations or thoughts there???? Something that obviously has an English version, and the literal Greek and/or Hebrew meaning (as applicable) with the spelling and pronunciation....my preference would be something that is very user friendly.
I appreciate any recommendatons.
Blessings,
RoyalFire

Re: Hebrew - Greek
Hi RoyalFire
Learning both Hebrew and Greek would be a long term endeavor, even if you didn't have a work schedule to work it in to.
These are the only books I have, and the only ones I have needed in the last 35+yrs.to gain knowledge from God, and by far the most important ingredient in any study of Gods' word is, The Holy Spirit, for "HE" will lead you into all truth.
Joh 16:13
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
I know you already knew this, but it doesn't hurt to hear it again.
1) King James version Bible
2) Greek - English Interlinear Bible
3) Vines Expository Dictionary of Greek words used in the KJV.
4) Strongs Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, for the KJV
The one I have not yet attained, but really haven't missed.
5) Hebrew - English Interlinear Bible
The Greek - English Interlinear, has KJV text with Greek text on the adjacent page, including Greek spellings, so they can be found in the Vines Dictionary.
All of these can be found online as free downloads.
I also use more than anything else, - - link --> ( www.e-sword.net ).
With this as an online library, you shouldn't need to attempt learning languages, besides you would have to learn ancient Greek and Hebrew, Chaldee, Aramaic.

Thank you JIM
