Gold Dust from Heaven
I was recently (at the time of original posting in 2000) privileged by God to see signs and wonders the like of which I have not experienced before in my life as a Christian. It seems that the Lord is now doing very unusual things which simply don't have any physical explanation.
What I am about to share I witnessed with my own eyes, together with many hundreds of other Christians jammed into the church hall of Holy Trinity Anglican church, Brussels, in a meeting organised by Pastor Raymond Vanderput of CCB.
We first heard from a lady who was a leader of a movement of intecessors in Brazil. Apparently God used her to start a revival in a part of Brazil. There are over 200,000 people listening to her weekly radio broadcast and it is just one of the things God is using in a nationwide revival in the land of Brazil, where it is now estimated that 35% of the population has turned to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This has happened because of the way God is answering the prayers of multiplied millions who cry out to him day and night in that country.
Another lady, Silvana, testified of how God helped her. She was terribly sick for 12 years, with cancer of the blood and numerous other horrible conditions. Her body was already entering into putrefaction in parts, no one could stand the smell. Yet somehow she remained alive in this condition for some time. Finally someone told her about Jesus and told her to get down to an evangelical church where they would pray for her. She did this, and was anointed with oil in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Not only was she totally healed and given new internal organs, but also God began to do very strange signs and wonders through her body. We watched in amazement as suddenly she shook her hair and a cloud of gold dust came down. This was not some cheap trick though - it happens in Brazil and in many places around the world. The gold has been analyzed by chemists to be a mixture of 24 karat gold and platinum. I have some of this gold dust on the pages of my English Bible at Psalm 150. Many others got little samples of this gold dust.
There was no specific prayer for the sick in that meeting. Yet I have heard of many people being healed at that time, including a friend of mine, an English missionary pastor, John Jupe, who I prayed for previously for the healing of his knee. Although he told me it got better after I prayed for him, it wasn't until that night that his knee was completely healed and he is now walking long distances without pain - something he was previously unable to do.
Also, one Belgian pastor, who I understand was not particularly believing concerning these manifestations of gold dust though he saw it along with the rest of us, was surprised by God when he got home. As he looked in his bathroom mirror he noticed a glint of something in his mouth. Upon closer inspection, he was surprised to find that God had given him some gold fillings (there were three if I remember correctly) during the meeting which simply were not there before.
I had heard reports of things like this happening in Argentina and places like that, but here it was happening in Belgium (!), a land which, sadly, is full of atheism and unbelief.
This wasn't all. Silvana prayed and anointed many of us with oil, and I have seen that this gold dust has started appearing on the faces of a number of us from time to time, without any warning. The day after the meeting, having taken a thorough shower in the morning, it appeared spontaneously on my face while at work the next day (I am working as a computer consultant at the time of writing). This manifestation was pointed out to me at work by a female colleague who happens to be an atheist, and it gave me a good opportunity to talk about Jesus to a few colleagues. I also saw this gold dust on the faces of a couple of pastors at various times - even last night (29th May, 1999) on the face of a young Romanian man leading an all-night prayer meeting I attended. So wonders never cease ...
It may seem odd, bizarre and strange, but God is doing things like this in our times to draw attention to Jesus Christ. My prayer for all my readers is that they will seek after Jesus Christ and his kingdom in these last days, and fully put their trust in Him.

revelation of God's glory
I believe in God and in our lord Jesus christ; in signs, wonders, miracles and supernatural manifestation. Experiencing gold dust is a revelation of the glory of God. Ive heard of cases where oil begin to come out of the walls, palms, eyes etc...
Someone may say that Jesus did not manifest such; yes but he said "greater things shall we do" these include supernatural manifestations. Jesus introduced the Holy Spirit but not all about his manifestation. The wisdom of God is deep and his riches unserchable for the bible says "the glory of the lather house shal be greater than the former", gold dust is just a little of the manifestation God has for his church.
Biblical?
Having been a Pentecostal for 40 years, even I find this hard to believe. As lacking Biblical precedent, this sounds pretty far out. What possible purpose could this serve? This is about as far out as the man who claimed to die and go to Heaven, where he found a bottle of pills in his Heavenly mansion labeled, "An overdose of the Holy Ghost"!
This to me is not far from the "Stigmata", which I consider demonic in origin. However, with that said, I know someone who experienced this only two weeks ago. I have no reason to disbelieve him. He was convinced it was a real phenomenon.
I take the position that like that of Gammaliel in Acts who said, "If this be of men it will fail, but of God, you may be found fighting against God.
I have seen instances of real fruitcakes being used of God do put to shame those wise in their own eyes.
No doubt many false signs and wonders are from Satan, but I wouldn't want to dismiss everything, as I have seen God take those same situations and move powerfully.
Modern day Cessationists dismiss everything unusual, though Jesus and His disciples practiced some unusual manifestations, including and not limited to telepathy, "I saw you under the fig tree", Supernatural teleportation with Philip and the Eunuch.
Scriptural Precedent
Many people have asked if there is a scriptural precedent for gold dust in the scriptures. Perhaps you all remember that there is indeed gold dust in the scriptures. Moses made gold dust from the golden calf and made the people drink it for following such an abomination. A craft he learned from the Egyptians while he was in Egypt. It is certainly something to ponder when considering this manifestation.

Brothers and Sisters in the Lord
You may be a sincere and true believer in the Lord.
Your church or congregation may be loving, comfortable and appears to teach the truth.
Your pastor seems to love the Lord and wishes to see God's miracles and wonders in your church.
BUT...
Whether its folks being slain in the spirit, gold dust falling, gemstones appearing , miraculous gold fillings, howling, barking and roaring like animals, clucking and jerking like chickens, trance like music, dream interpretations, etc., I ASK YOU THIS?
Did Jesus and his disciples and apostles present this type of behavior? Did Jesus EVER wave His garment, raise His hand, or blow at the crowd and hundreds fell over backwards apparently slain in the spirit? NO!
When Jesus or Paul taught, did gold dust ever fall at these services? NO! Did folks in the crowd receive gold fillings? NO! Did miraculous gemstones ever fall at these services? NO! Besides when one was demon possessed, did followers ever roll around on the ground jerking, writhing, screaming, making animal sounds? NO!
WE ARE TO TRY, TEST AND PROVE ALL THINGS AGAINST GOD'S WORD! THAT IS THE STANDARD BY WHICH WE JUDGE WHAT IS RIGHTEOUS AND TRUE!
What you are unfortunately seeing in this last days church are LYING SIGNS AND WONDERS!
My late wife and I knew Benny Hinn on a personal level before he had a ministry but today, I am truly disturbed by this man and his ministry! Benny Hinn is a false teacher and false prophet!
Many of my good Christian friends loved Todd Bentley. Another false teacher and false prophet. This man is truly vile!
The Word of Faith movement is the most dangerous and widespread teaching in the church today! "YOU ARE LITTLE GODS" they say! The first lie recorded in the Bible was in Genesis when the serpent told Eve she would be as gods if she ate the fruit from the forbidden tree! This very lie is what the Word of Faith movement is based on! Flee from them!
The ecumenical movement through the World Wide Council of Churches comes in second!
You may criticize me for what I have written, call me negative, critical, legalistic, having a religious spirit, divisive and whatever else BUT...if I test these things against the Bible and cannot confirm that these things ever occurred or are true, then I must conclude that they are NOT from God! LYING SIGNS AND WONDERS OF THE LAST DAYS AND ITS GOING TO GET MUCH WORSE!
Folks believe they can speak things into existence as though they were. False teacher Joel Osteen says this when in fact the Bible says that GOD can only do these things!
Its time we get back to Bible basics and foundational teachings like repentance, forgiveness, grace, faith, atonement, righteousness and holiness and stop chasing after signs and wonders and every wind of doctrine designed to tickle the ears. Whenever you mix truth with human appeal you get deceit!

God has done and will do many signs and wonders. He is God and will move as He sees fit. Who are we to question Him. If you are a true follower of God and have not tainted yourself and these things happen, how can you say it's false?
Also the apostles used handkerchiefs to heal.

There are lot of religious people out there who claim that
Benny Hinn and others are false prophets.
For a moment , let us assume they are.
Let us also assume that the signs they show , are false signs.
(sleight of hand or some other tricks , .......)
Can you give me the name of any true preachers who can work
true sign and wonders ?
Can you work any signs or wonders ?
Most of the clergy traditional churches - both Catholic and Protestant
make the same claims as you - ,"......that the Word of Faith is a heretic movement ,..."
but they can neither work signs nor wonders , ....not can they
do much else.
If there is a different truth , .....I am searching for it ,
and I would be really happy if anyone would help me find it.

Thanks for your response. I think the answer to your question lies in some of the older posts.
Jesus clearly said there would be lying signs and wonders in the last days. People will fall for every wind of doctrine giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. Do these so-called signs occur or are they real? Yes! But...they are NOT from God because you cannot test them against the Bible as we are all commanded to do. These things never happened when Jesus and the apostle Paul were on the earth.
The sign of one being "Spiritual" or "Saved" is NOT how many can "work signs and wonders" as you put it but rather how many Fruits of the Spirit someone has. "You shall know them by their fruits." the Bible says! It doesn't teach that "You shall know them by how many Gifts of the Spirit they have or how many signs and wonders follow them."
I cannot tell you the names of true preachers who can work true signs and wonders as you ask. I sense that your focus is a little too much on the aspects of gifts, signs and wonders. THESE are NOT the sign of true faith, Christianity or Faith!
Yes...I AM very critical of the Word of Faith movement. Critical of their principal doctrines and beliefs although there are many sincere folk in this movement. The big thing that bothers me is that they ALL teach that, "YOU ARE LITTLE GODS." I have videos on my computer of Ken Hagin, Ken Copeland, Paul Crouch, Joyce Meyers and Benny Hinn stating just that, "YOU ARE LITTLE GODS!" This is heresy and the Bible clearly teaches against this. Jesus said, "There is no other god besides me!"
So...although many Word of Faith teachers, preachers and prophets seem to display miracles, speak in tongues and perform signs and wonders, by the Bible they are clearly not from God. I hope this does not discourage you as you may like some of these people but the truth is the truth whether you want to hear it or not!
We live in dangerous time from a Christian perspective and the false signs and wonders of these last days are going to become even greater and will seduce even more into a false gospel and will be deceived. Again, the Bible clearly teaches this when reading about the end times.
Vikki....place your focus and trust in Jesus alone, not any other man or preacher. TEST ALL THINGS AGAINST THE BIBLE!
Unfortunately, I cannot endorse any tv preacher right now as i have problems with just about all of them. They preach a gospel of greed and their focus is on getting money from their viewers!

Vicky - you asked AMCP to explain the list of miracles you presented.
I might try to address this, not from a bilibcal perspective, but from a logical one;
Peter suggested that you are being lied to - I'll suggest that it's a little simpler even than that.
Vicky, when you witness an event that you don't understand, what is your first thought? is it "Gee, I don't understand what happened just then, I should try to find out what happened", or is it "Gee, I don't understand what happened then, therefore it MUST have been an act of god"?
The reality is that while both are technically "valid", only one is logical; the former. By recognising an event that you cannot explain, you have simply acknowledged that your knowledge is limited. HOWEVER, to then use the limitation of your knowledge as evidence for god,God or gods' existence is actually fallacious.
When you've recognized the limitation of your knowledge and a motivation to learn more, it is appropriate to stop there. It is VALID to suggest a hypothesis, but not valid to ASSERT AS FACT that your hypothesis is correct.
AMCP, you suggest that all things should be tested against the bible, while this might be okay, I'll suggest that all things should ALSO be tested with common sense. For example, if a sick person, considered uncurable by doctors, suddenly becomes well, is that proof of a god, or simply that the doctors were wrong?
Which scenario is "more likely"? divine intervention, or simply that human doctors don't know everything?
In any case, I think my point is a bit clear - common sense is really the only tool that we have to discern from the kind of disingenuous hysteria that you object to - particualarly from the ranting, greedy evangelicists you mention!

I think your response was not only firm yet loving, but also very wise. Especially your point about focusing on the fruits of The Spirit, I had the same thought but would not have been able to express my thoughts as well as you have done. Thank you.
I believe we are all to be Bereans, testing all things against the Word of God. If that puts me closer to the camp of "cynical" I suppose I prefer that to buying into false doctrines.
If I am wrong, I pray forgiveness from God and from my brothers and sisters in Christ, but I think signs and miracles (based on scriptural examples) ought to serve a more clearly defined purpose.

Jesus said that signs would follow the believer, not the believer follow signs...it's very easy to get caught up, so to speak in anything that points to being the Glory of God...
Many years ago, as a young christian, I felt like I needed to go to bible school...I signed up for two years, and had some of the (then considered), best teachers in the world...many are still around today, and most are Word of Faith teachers...
I had finished my first year of school, and instead of gaining more clarity in my understanding of Jesus, I became confused...something wasn't right, and I knew it in my heart...I decided to go back to school the second year, and lasted 2 weeks...
One night while driving home after school, I told the Lord,"I don't trust your people to teach me anymore!"...I was angry...His response was this,"I HAVEN'T CALLED YOU TO TRUST THEM, I'VE CALLED YOU TO TRUST ME!!!"
After He said this, I said,"One teacher says this, one teacher says that. Who's right?"...His response to me,"I'M RIGHT. OPEN YOUR BIBLE AND I WILL TEACH YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW."
I too got caught up in Benny Hinn, and many others, until I realized that it is Jesus who is my first example of how to be like Him...He has never let me down, even in the darkest of times...
Strive to live a fasted life, praying and communicating with Him daily...He will show you the Glory of God, and He will shine through you...be blessed...

Did not know whom to follow ,....and still very confused.
Most Evangelical preachers , project that all your problems
will be solved if your attend their prayer services and if you contribute
to their ministry.
Half the crowd of preachers that appear on TV are divorced or
have serious allegations(of some kind) against them.
From Benny Hinn or Todd Bentley the charges just vary.
All of them have one thing in common: - Extravagent lifestyles ,
and the emphasis on money.
Think of it , ....there are barely a handful who are above board.
This is just a sample.

so anything we do is acceptable , .......

who is above board ?
The Word of God is good , .....but we still have the need of a flesh
and blood Pastor , ...who comes over one in a while and who you
get to see and hear on Sundays , .......

Who to follow?
Dear Vikki,
I know this sounds trite, but honestly, your question of who to follow, at the beginning of your comment...well, follow Jesus Christ! He will speak to you not only through His Word, the Bible, but will speak to your heart if you truly love Him and are trying to follow Him.
So many of us follow people who claim to be His shepherds, and somehow we lose sight of the True Shepherd. That is not, however, to say Jesus Christ is not performing many miracles today, as He always has. We have to be so careful not to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
I have prayed for people many times and seen them miraculously healed, tumours melted under my hands, fevers departed, and many other examples, However, there were also many more times I prayed for healing when it did not occur. This is because I have no power of myself. It is God who is the Healer, and He alone decides who gets healed and when. We do not think with the mind of God. We are not "Little Gods" and it is a terrible sin to think we are. We have to get our eyes off of man and back on God.
Jesus said after He was to go back to the Father, that we would perform miracles as He did, and even greater miracles, because He was leaving us the Holy Spirit. We must not hinder the work of the Holy Spirit by naming all miracles "false". They are not false. Jesus himself was accused of healing through the power of Satan.
What we must pray for is wisdom and discernment so we will know which spirit is performing miracles, and whether the preaching is of God or the enemy. When we ask for these gifts, God will never deny us. God Bless you, because you are seeking the truth, God will show you the truth.

You have listed many high profile men that have controversy follow them and even have been labelled False Teachers.
As to who do we follow. The Bible says "my sheep hear my voice and will not follow a stranger" (somewhere in Johns gospel). If we calim this truth, God will give us discernment and we will not follow those who are not of God. Or at least not for very long. Keep it in prayer.
Meanwhile there are many true shepherds looking after God's flock, you will not know them because they don't look after mega-churches or use the internet to get followers to come to their Church. They run small congregations of a few hundred and are godly men, fathers, husbands and grandfathers (in some cases). These men are dedicated to God's word and preaching and teaching what the Bible says under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Several of these wonderful men run parishes in my local area. I belong to a women's Bible Study and we are all members of various churches in our local area. I ahve been to these other churches over the past few years and I know what my fellow bible study companions have said about their Pastors and all has been high praise for these men.
God has provided His sheep with good Shepherds. It took me a few years to come to the church I go to through prayer my hubby & I found this one.
Meanwhile I would just read my Bible and ask the Holy spirit to reveal it's truth to me until you come to a good Bible teaching church. God will provide.

Mel, I agree with your statement. We are getting too carried away with mega-media preachers. You will know them by their fruits...and those fruits are not the size of the congregation or the amount of money they collect.

A Pastor that you would like to sit under will have these qualities...
They will live to Love God First...The fruit of Love will prevail in their lives, especially towards God...ALL ministers are called to Love God first...
The second thing is that they will love people, BY POINTING THEM TO JESUS...NOT TO THEMSELVES...There are too many ministers who have sought the kingdom of money, decieving people into thinking that that is where the Kingdom of God is...
Jesus said "SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD",and your material possesions would be added to you...
I was speaking with a Pastor not long ago, and he asked me to help him with his church...his plan was to steal people from other churches...he actually told me this...lol
I'm not going to his church...because it's his church, not Jesus'..
Just like in the days of Elijah, God has His people that will soon come on the scene, and they will show the True God for Who He is...
Don't look at the world system as your blueprint for life, keep praying...keep fasting...
Above all...Seek to know His Love for you personally...Get a Strong's Concordance, a Dictionary, get away from everyone a little while each day and study the word "LOVE", everywhere you find it in the New Testament...
Start with Luke 10:27...and go on to John 3:16...ask the Spirit of God to make His Love for you so real that you know Him (Love), like the back of your hand...

I just happened on this web site and this page and found it facinating. I have been wondering about this gold dust phenonemon for a while now. I watched a film entitled "The Finger of God" and there were people on there getting gold dust, "manna" appearing in their Bibles, and getting gold teeth. I found it hard to believe any of it because it has no scriptural precedent. Also, why would God put a gold tooth in the back of someone's mouth and leave a bunch of rotten teeth or missing teeth in the same mouth? Have any of you heard or experienced this?>
I saw it with my own two eyes!
While at a messianic conference,my sister and I ,were worshiping and praising God,as was everyone else! My sister was actually on her face (lying down)and I was lifting my hands in worship. Anyway,the host Sid Roth ask everyone to check their mouths,as He was getting reports of gold teeth showing up in peoples mouths.(He didn't break into worship to do this,there was a pause during a song) My sister stood up, and I ask to look in her mouth.She noticed the look on my face,and said," What?....that's not funny,..." When I was able to articulate,I said "There's a gold tooth in there !!" And there was!!! I started trembling,because I know I had just witnessed something supernatural!
By that time the ladies around us took notice and confirmed what I had told my sister ! We were all so excited,jumping and praising the Lord! We were not the only ones, as many such small groups throughout the entire conference were shouting and praising God! In total I believe there were one hundred people who received one or more gold teeth.That is out of one thousand,so 10%. ( I don't know if that's important)
No one knows why. Sid Roth said maybe it was like a way of God restoring the gold teeth that the Jews had lost during the Holocaust,but he isn't sure. God can do whatever He wants.That doesn't always have to make sense to us,I guess.
I can tell you one thing,the atmosphere during worship (at that time) was unlike anything I had ever experienced. I have felt the presence of the Lord before,so I recognized it .But this was just almost electrically charged,and even heavy feeling,if that makes sense.Paul Wilbur was singing and he had brought a team of messianic dancers from Israel with him.So there is wonderful music,dance and HUGE banners that resembled fire ,and one with a huge Lion.But what really made it awesome ,was the absolute abandon that everyone worshiped with.I am not talking disorder and kooky stuff.( more that half the crowd had gray hair) It was the real joy I saw ,and felt myself. Like when you were a child,and just received something you had always wanted.You showed how happy you were! Everyone was so happy to be worshiping our Lord!! It is hard to explain."You had to be there" fits here!
So, what is the fruit? Well my Dad who isn't a believer(please pray for him)
can't wrap his head around it! I believe it eats away at his doubt.He knows we wouldn't lie to him. I am still in awe! But I can't explain why God did that!
I just KNOW that HE did it! My sister never prayed for this,she didn't chase around looking for this, but she has told God that she doesn't want anything that isn't from Him!! It is still there

gold dust
I have experienced this gold dust stuff over a few months after i was radically saved and God's presence was so tangible for the first time in my life. I first thought someone was secretly putting it on me until it happened once while i was all alone. Mostly worshiping God alone at my house but a few times at different churhes and an all night prayer meeting. I started focusing more on wondering if it was appearing then on my worship and God chastised me and its quit happening. I was focusing on it too much because im a very analytical person and it was just amazing seeing something form from nothing too me. I felt like God was just letting me know He was with me. I dont really know what it means though....or now i should say meant....hasnt happened for a few months. I believe alot of supernatural things are going to begin to happen as our Lord's return draws closer. As long as the focus is on Jesus Christ and the price He paid for us, I dont care what happens around me. Im excited He chose to let me live in these days and be a part of His family.If anyone knows more about what all of that means please let me know.I really would like to know. Limbs healed and restored all the time!
I have been in a church where my pastor ministered healing to a person or two with withered limbs and busted ankles that were totally restored. This happens all the time. But then again, you still will not believe because you would seek these things out for yourself and find them true if you so desired to see what is real. Rail all you want, but know this. God is in heaven and will soon visit this earth. Prepare your heart. There is proof all around, but there are none so blind as those who refuse to see. Gold Dust 'n stuff
I've heard of this and other phenomena, but never seen it. If it's of God, I'm all for it. If it's not, then I'm against it.
My only question is, where are these people spiritually, say, a year later? If they are closer to God, devoted to His Word, serving Him and loving others, that's awesome. If, however, they have become fixated on the manifestation of gold dust and similar things, that's bad.

I had experienced gold dust appearing on my face and hands when my eyes were opened for the first time in life and i understood that God is interacting with me and bringing about a transformation in my life....i understand this to be a part of biblical scripture where Jesus says in Revelation 3:18 ( I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see )

Fake Healings vs Genuine Healings
Here is a confession: I have spent literally hours and countless hours of my life Googling healings and related gifts.
Every time I Googled a certain popular healer (can I mention names, here?) Anyway, his initials are B.H.. And the result were consistent, I read endless testimony after testimony of people who went to his meetings sick, with various health ailments, and their sad story was in the end they came home sick as ever, only broker, too. Many of them report that these individuals died of the very sickness they went to get healed.
Folks, this is serious business, here. This man. and all others of his ilk, are using the precious name of our savior, Jesus, and dragging it in the mud. He is getting the hopes of millions up, only to have them end up with a worse broken heart than ever before. I don't know if you can see the seriousness of this, but I can guarantee that God does. It is a grave matter indeed. What he is doing is more than just a crime in the spiritual realm, it' an outright felony!
And there are others in this crowd. Some (At least one) have been openly exposed on national TV for using radio headsets to obtain "words of knowledge" about those they purport to heal. It's a shame and and open DISGRACE to the name of Christ Jesus!
I'll put it another way. They make us ALL LOOK BAD. Sadly, they reflect on the body of Christ in a very negative light.
So, I had resigned myself to thinking that maybe no healings are taking place, anywhere, today. Oh yes, the Google button again, you can find copious opinions that the healing gifts have "passed away" and are just not for today. Same thing for speaking in tongues, etc.
Um, let me tap these doubting people on the shoulders, and ask this: "Who are you to tell Almighty God what he can and can not do today???" Why should He jump into your little box?? Have you people ever read the book of Job? The last part of Job makes it abundantly clear that God does just about whatever He jolly well pleases in the earth, and he does NOT need our lilliputian approval, no matter HOW learned it may be.
But, I regress. All this Googling, and all this reading of these consistent, DISMAL results for true healings today had me quite depressed.
But I persisted on. Well, my assiduousness FINALLY payed off, because recently I struck Google gold! I FINALLY found some ..no not some. I found plenty of genuine healings, most of them bordering on the miraculous. I finally found some places where God is doing for REAL what the fake healers are taking money for, but leaving people broke and empty and sick.
I found the genuine, and guess what? It surpasses the counterfeit in degree and quality! the genuine is stellar! The counterfeit is mundane. Remember, in the old testament that God's snakes ATE Pharaoh's snakes??? Well hallelujah! I had not remembered that, until the Lord just brought it to mind about three seconds ago, so I guess that is His way of letting me know I should tell you that.
Anyway, YES. God does indeed heal today, and he does indeed do genuine miracles. He is STILL God and he has not changed, just like His word promised. I would say, one just has to be fortunate enough to find someone whom God will honor as far as having a ministry along these lines. Sadly, some sick people search all their lives, and end up trying to get healed at a place where only the counterfeit is in operation. And as I said, many of them actually DIE. My brethren, this ought not be!!!
That is sad beyond human comprehension.
So I started meditating on this, and I asked God "Why? " If the gifts are genuine and for today, why is it that certain men, like B.H, send people home still sick and broke, while across town, another brother is operating with the genuine gifts and people are walking out miraculously healed? Aren't you God everywhere???
Well, this is what I believe God is showing me: the Bible clearly says many times that God DISTINGUISHES or differentiates between the righteous man and the evil man,... God SEPARATES light from darkness.
What I am beginning to believe is that God will HONOR certain vessels, and simply, other vessels He will NOT HONOR.
Why? Well, I can only say, God sees the man's heart. If the man has a heart full of greed, lieing, thievery, deception, robbing the innocent and preying on the gullible, why SHOULD God honor that?? Why would God honor or be complicit in a lie??? If the man is out for his own gain and his own fame and glory, why would God even consider participating in that?? He is certainly not obligated! In fact, He would then become a PARTNER IN CRIME! And that is totally incongruent with His Divine, Holy character!
I think..I HOPE I am onto some truth here.

DougW, yes, you are definitely onto truth here, but the truth goes even further. Firstly, the recounting of the snake story. Yes, God's snakes ate Pharaoh's snakes...BUTNOTICE...Pharaoh WAS able to produce snakes! What I am saying is that the devil can also provide healings, simply by removing his demons from a person's flesh. This is pretty deep for some people, but it is true.
I do not think the healings come from the righteousness of any man, because any righteousness we have comes from God, but rather from the mind and purposes of God Himself. He knows things we do not know. He also can see into all hearts. Some people only seek the hands of God, (healing) but not His heart. Some people only want what they can get from God without giving Him their heart. He alone knows and He alone will decide how and who and when healings will be given. For every action in this world there is a reaction. God alone knows if it will be for the ultimate good if a person is to be healed or not.
We have to trust God. There will never be a formula nor a pattern to what God does. He alone is God. Praise Him!
A real healing
I would like to share my brother's story with you... I don't even know how I got to this page today but I'm glad that I did. Just last night I had decided to write his story down; and then I come upon this page.... That is God.
My brother Spencer Henderson II (deceased October 20, 2008)of Lung Cancer. Diagnosed June 2008. Non smoker...
In October 20007 my brother (a healthy 230lb, Cincinnati policeman) was taking a shower and he said he heard a voice telling him his family was in danger. You would have to know my brother to know he didn't believe in the alien, supernatural stuff... He was a Christian...
After he heard the voice he said it was neither male nor female just a voice but strong... It continued to tell him his family was in danger.... Then he said he started having a vision of my mother putting holy oil on our heads in the mornings before we would go to school when we were little and then she would say the our father before we would go to school every morning. This is what he said he was seeing. Then he seen each person of his immediate family his four children and his wife, even himself. He said immediately following that experience lots of voices filled his head telling him that he was stupid and what was he going to do become a preacher now and saying a lot of evil stuff.... He said he started laughing because he knew right away it was satin and his demons and he had to do what he was told. He left the shower and went to get the holy oil. He tried a Catholic church and they wanted to give him holy water, he told them no he was told to get Holy Oil.... After he got the oil from a different church he anointed each one of his family member in the order that he seen them in the vision and then himself ......saying the Our Father prayer. He then went the same evening on a Thursday and in October and prayed for his oldest son (19) that was staying in the job core. He did the same thing.
He explained that he didn't like telling this story to anyone because people would think he was crazy....
During his journey trying to find the oil... and again when he was driving to his son .... he said the demonic voices were saying terrible things and trying to convince him that what he was doing was not only not important but not real. He said the voices were many and all talking at the same time.
After he prayed for his son ... He said that he felt free and happy and surprisingly the voices stopped. He had an awesome faith in God and his word.
exactly seven days from the day that he prayed for his family that Thursday night.... His oldest son Spencer Henderson III, had three major strokes(at least that’s what the doctors call it because they are not all clear about what it is) simultaneously or right behind each other. When we arrived at the hospital he was like a new born sleeping. One doctor wanted to put him on the psych ward saying that he just shut down. Because he was just laying there... not talking not needing anything, his vitals were normal, his breathing, he just wouldn't wake up. If you touch his face he would slightly move away from the touch if you persisted. Once we told the doctors that Spencer was not upset about anything and was happy... another doctor looked at his brain scan and said there was something in the back he didn't like. After careful review they moved him quickly to ICU... noting that he had, three massive strokes... His body was not distorted and his face was normal, within 7 days each day he came around more and more... moving from opening his eyes to laughing to trying to talk to being able to walk very slowly to the bathroom to going home in a WEEK.... He has some slight speech problems but plays basketball and looks normal... He has told me that he has some problems with writing and getting out what he wants to say and even some weakness on one side... but here is the kicker... the Doctors said the way his brain looks and the location of the "strokes" for the lack of better words .... He should have been dead or a vegetable... My brother knew instantaneously when we arrived at the hospital why God told him to anoint his family ... God healed his son.... the reason that the doctors are torn about weather or not it is "strokes" or not is because its... Nothing! God healed him and they will never figure it out... the problems that he has now are so slight that if you didn't know his story you wouldn’t know anything was even wrong at all.. And they are things that he can recover from 100% with therapy and time. God is good. Satin was mad because my brother did what he was told to do and he afflicted him with Lung cancer the next year.... Spencer acknowledged that he knew why ... He asked God to spare his life but, never complained or said why me ... he trusted God through his pain but was excited... listen EXCITED about knowing he was going to see God.. He said he had done what God had asked him to do and got his family in church and they were safe... He increased his wife’s faith in God and I believe he is in heaven.... His son’s life is a miracle and there are many more that I could share thank you for listening...

Healings............
I have seen genuine healing but they were not done on television but in the local church....No one took credit for the healings but all the glory went to God...They came about when people who have a great love for the Savior and for each other prayed and believed that God was in charge and no mater what the outcome it was for the best of the one prayed for....
I have also seen those want the healing so bad that when it did not happen, that they became bitter and God had to deal with that bitterness....

Covenant vs. Mercy Healing
Ok.......I'm gonna quote someone that will throw the whole bunch of ya in the ditch. Hang on.
Yep......Mr. BH himself, which is short for Benny Hinn. I know....I have more issues with him than Eli Lilly has pills but......I have learned a few things from Benny regardless. Ok? Stay tuned.
Benny said that thru out his crusades many long term saints would come to him after the service and ask him why he thought they were not receiving their healing when they stand on scripture and claim what they believe is theirs from calvary?
Ok? Fair question, right? Sure. Here's men and women who been walkin with the Lord for decades on end and they're not seeing the physical manifestation of healing in their body. They asked Benny why?
Benny says he went to the Lord and inquired on their behalf. He said "Lord....why do I see sinners who don't know you healed at the crusades yet people on my staff, ministers and their families and other saints do not get healed? Why?
Benny said the Lord told him that the sinners healed at the crusades were healed by mercy but that saints are healed by covenant.
Hmm? Think on that for a moment. Is there truth to this? Does this make Biblical sense?
I have been pondering this for several years and I keep coming back to it. How do I activate the covenant God has made with me for healing? What factors are involved? What role do I play? What role does God play?
Does this sound like it fits my testimony of being healed of a stomach disorder? No it does not. I did not ask God to heal me but he did it anyways. Ahhh...but wait.....I was a baby christian, only born again for 2 or 3 months. Does God heal baby christians on mercy? Does God heal people sovereignly?

Fake Healers, True Healings
Doug, had to answer that dilemna myself after a very carnal man was used of God in very miraculous ways. Consider the picture of Michaelangelo with the hand of God reaching down and the hand of man reaching up - but not quite touching.
A man of God is there to intercede. "Father, here is your child..." as he makes known the request, "Child, here is your God..." as he exhorts and edifies and comforts with the Word of God that applies to the person's situation. The pastor is the middle man. Yet it is God and the one seeking God who are the ones who seal the deal. God honors the faith of the seeker as the seeker comes sincerely to God.
The pastor who takes any credit for that, or implies he has a special 'anointing' is open to delusion and sin is at the door.

Michael, the owner of this web site has seen many many healings in his ministry over the years. Maybe he'll jump in and post a comment about them?
I was healed of a bleeding stomach in 1990. I didn't even ask for it, it just happened. I couldn't eat any spicy food, pizza, drink OJ or anything like that because I snorted so much coke that it ate my inner stomach lining. I'd be on the ground in a fetal position sick as a dog brother if I ate pizza.
Anyways...one night at church while my Pastor was preachin away, he stopped and said "I believe the Lord just told me there are maybe 2 or 3 people who have a bleeding stomach or you're spitting up blood. If that is you, raise your hand and God will heal you right where you are". I raised my hand and I felt this heat shoot right down my right arm and deposit itself right in my belly. After church I went and ate a plate of jalapenos. I never took tagament again. Ever! I can eat anything I want. No problem. Case closed.

Genuine Healings
All I can say to that testimony is glory to God!!!
Now I want to give a testimony. When my son Jonathan was a toddler, he fell down a flight of stairs and hit his head. This threw him into epilepsy. He started having petit mal seizures.
The doctors gave him a leather helmet to wear and we had to keep him on Dilantin. He developed dark circles around his eyes.
Well, this turned into a long trial, the gory details of which I won't go into here.
But one night we took him to a church, and he went up front and the preacher prayed for him. They turned him around and bless God, the dark circles had completely vanished!!!
He then began to O.D on his medicine, because he no longer needed it.
He has not had seizures since.
God healed him and I give Him all the glory.
So come to think of it, I DO believe in healing! I had just simply forgot. Thank-you brother for reminding me!
Now please pray for my other son, brothers. Something wicked happened to him this evening, and he is starting a long trial.
It is of God or it is of the devil
Is it important whether it is of God or of the Devil. Nevertheless, it tells us that spiritual warfare is real.I believe that only the person will know whether it is of the Father or of the Devil. And as for us, watching and hearing...can only judge the word and the experience of others. And tried to understand God or may be the Devil to others. I believe the power of our God..He heals,He is capable of anything on earth and heaven. No one can stop Him or limit Him what he can do.In the bible, Peter walks on water...because He believe. Only if you believe in Him and His work, can we experience with Him and walk with Him ...whether there is gold dust while you walk with Him....whether He heals you, you know in your personal experience that He is real and He is in you. Isn't that is enough then chasing after Gold rather than God himself? The only danger lies when we hunger for physical experience then chasing God Himself.

There is no judgeing of others from what I can tell. Its not to me hard to beleave that Gold dust would appear, God made the earth and he made gold, heavan is explained as gold peral gates made with seven precious stones.
It was man who turned hold into money, but before it was money it was just another gift from our father, as the air we breath. All things of love are from the Lord who is God. Where evil cannot exist for the love is so strong. he himself said I have come to give you love in abundance.
People are not really being led by gold into the beleif of god. there being led by God into the gift of faith. Gods love is of that pure as gold, gold is pure and a pure soul can form the dust of gold as the kingdom of god is in us all, who the would not our bounty be pleanty.

Evils only and SOLE ONLY task is to stop man from advancing his soul to god, and gods love is so strong that even that fails so often under the light of gods pure love.

I have saw with my own eyes after my nephew was in a car accident, and laying in a coma, gold dust all over his body,at first when his Mother told me,I thought she was in shock and feared she was losing her mind, I was afraid to go in and see him but when I did I saw for myself, then when we went outside I even saw it in the walls of the hospital, and in the sidwalks, I knew it had to be a sign from God, but it has always been there in the back of my mind,thats why im here to see if this has happened to anyone else? My nephew came out of the coma.Still not sure and dont trully understand, but who am I to question a miracle or at least in my mind thats what it was.

Find me a Scripture concerning people being covered in gold dust, gems, oil, fowl feathers or stigmata ...Nowhere will you find a Scripture with any of these phenomenons....You will find in in Psalm 17, 36,57, 63,91, being under the protection of the shadow of God's wings but this is symbolic...It has been discovered in several of these phenomenons that they were deception done by man........It will not be signs/wonders that will cause man to repent and be saved but by the preaching/teaching of the Word through the Blood of Jesus Christ....What is happening in the church world today, if Scripture cannot backup the phenomenon, then it is best to disregard as not from God....The Bible is a measuring stick, rule, our lamp, guidline ect for us and not signs/wonders......Remember Pharoah's magicans could do most of the same signs/wonders that Moses did .........
Signs and wonders do cause repentance
Not too sure I can claim that signs and wonders do not cause people to repent when I have seen it happen. I've seen plenty of sinners become born again after witnessing and being in the presence of a strong move of the Holy Spirit. Some people will not act on the word but are motivated when they see God move on people in a powerful way.
I agree that God's plan for salvation centers on preaching of the word. You are correct. However, God does confirm Himself in signs and wonders and this confirmation can really throttle some hardened unbelievers. I am serious. Keep in mind that public tongues is not for believers but for unbelievers. I took an unbeliever to church and he had heard the word preached plenty but when a person in my church spoke in tongues he was startled. He turned to me and said "wow..that was God wasn't it?...I can feel the power". This lead to his conversion.
Anyways.......I have heard testimonies of people getting new teeth in the shape of crosses and that's not in the Bible but the people who told me witnessed it and they are credible christians (missionaries). God reserves the right to move in any fashion He pleases to confirm or leave a lasting impression on someone. I've never seen gold dust but it may well be God. I think what is critical to ask is how does the phenomena effect the person? What kind of result occurs? If it draws the person to the Lord then likely it is Him. I admit there are counterfeits but Satan is not going to do anything to draw you closer to God.

My name is Michael Perry, and I am a youth Pastor on the Big Island of Hawaii. We just got done with a youth leadership camp it went from Nov 28th - to the 30th 2008. During one of our adult classes towards the ending of the class we closed in pray, and when we did their was one adult that was battling with demons, so we was prompted by the Holy Spirit to pray for her. So we did and let me tell you we were battling against the enemy 2 hours later we conquered. Here's the cool thing the next morning as us leaders was eating breakfast we noticed that all of us had this gold looking sparkles on our hands, arms, and faces it looks like glitter. In the end of January 2008 I
In the end of January 2008 I was burdened with a spirit of prayer. I felt as though my heart was broken over the ineffectiveness of the Church in America. (myself included) There is a lot of talk but very little power. In scripture is reads Paul was determined not to come with words only but with a demonstration of the Spirits power. So that their faith would not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. I was weeping in prayer over the American bride of Christ. Then when I went to church ...my 10 year old son and I were worshiping God on our faces on the floor. Well my forehead was stuck to the floor (by the power of God and all I could say was HOLY HOLY HOLY
son's hands were covered with gold red and silver sparkles.
By the end of the service we showed the Pastor ..by then the only color that remained was the gold...That in itself was so unusual that the 2 other colors were absorbed.
On the drive home (it is an hour to church) there was a special drunken glory in the car.
Honestly...Todays American church rests on the words and wisdom of men and not power of God. We are way to familar with a God we barely know. Why would he pave his streets with Gold and build his city with gems. This sign and wonder clearly is a signature of God.
There is a blanket of unbelief over the American church. Be cleansed.

hi:) regarding the issue of gold dust, i saw the lady from brazil in person and was absolutely astonished:) the prob was as i grew in wisdom and knowledge of God i found i have the right in Jesus to judge all things through his word! and no where does it state that any person in the word ever had gold dust... it also no where is promised to us that this wil occur! what the bible does say however is in the end times we wil be deceived by false prophets! and if there is no prom of any such post from Jesus... my mind refuses to believe t- also... ppl must never focus on the gold dust, which many ppl wil! jesus never cam to bring gold, he came to bring eternal life! the gold was analysed by a south african university and found not to be gold! i urge all followers to be wise and not believe all ppl standing in front of them:) God bless you all

This is Michael and yes I am fully aware of the false prophets and the end times. For the issue of the gold dust I am not worried at all what it is and what it can be that is not the issue. I just want all to know about the Glory of God and what our Lord is doing. Thanks again.
What is the gold dust?
This was a report I heard at the time, about the analysis. I do not know if it is true. Actually, I don't think it is real gold myself.
These kinds of things are currently happening in the church pastored by Clark Taylor in Brisbane, one of my friends here tells me. But they don't excite me any more one way or the other. I hope people are enjoying God's presence, fellowship with God and one another. That is more important.
Gold Dust
I just read an article about Silvana in which it was stated that a sampling of the dust from her hair was taken and analized in Washington D.C and found to be glitter. You have stated in this article that you also had it analized. May I ask where? Is it possible to get a copy of the report?
