God Needed HBO, Showtime, A Beer, Some Doritos and Oh Yeah, 3 of your Kids ...

NOT.

The first thing I want to address is a quote on a FB Friend's wall that reads:

"God saw you getting tired & a cure was not to be... So He put his arms around you and whispered "come to me... God broke my heart to prove to me He only takes the best."

"God broke my heart to prove to me He only takes the best."

WOW. And what's so heinous, horrific and tragic is that so many wonderful, loving, caring, kind, generous people in America actually believe this heinous, abhorrent, devastating and destructive, fallacy.

It astonishes me when I watch and hear the vast majority of even Christians assert their unfounded theory that God chooses to save some from horrible deaths and not others; that "He needed another angel in heaven." It isn't arbitrary. He doesn't vacillate, cherry pick or need to sleep on it.

Furthermore, for those who think it isn't God's will to always heal, and if  you're not getting healed of cancer, for example, why are you continuing to fight with various applications, treatments and methods such as surgery, chemo, radiation and alternative medicine? "What do you mean?" You ask. Well, if God doesn't want you to be healed, why then would you disobey Him and attempt to override His will for your life.

I'll tell you why. Because inside of each and every one of us is an overwhelming desire to live; a drive, determination, motivation, ambition, and fervent passion, placed in our hearts by Him, the Father and Creator. This is why Jesus said in John 15:13 "Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends." In doing so, we surrender in the highest our strongest, most powerful and inherent, essential and intrinsic directive – survival. It's stronger than our pride, our sin nature and our own will, purpose, pursuits and agenda.  

Why is it so powerful? God much prefers us alive and not dead.

Parents feed their children a most grim, illogical and contemptible poison when they tell one child that the reason little Timmy was splattered in the street while riding his bicycle was because God needed him in Heaven. This vile, abhorrent and defamatory remark does nothing more than grossly slander the character, motives and promises of the Most High God. This is a lie straight out of Hell. Christians HAVE TO STOP coming up with these immoral, maledictive, abhorrent heresies, in order to make sense of our inability to grasp the concept of death.

Read Revelation 20:14

"And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."

Isn't that interesting? God intends, at the end of the Age, to cast DEATH into the lake of fire. The logic in that alone should convince any right thinking individual with an ounce of common sense, that God is an enemy of death. Those who tell you that it's spiritual death need to brush up on their Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic translation. Stop believing that death is your friend. Death is your enemy because it's an enemy of God.

1 Corinthians 15:26 states that "The last enemy that will be abolished is death.

First off, there isn't one, single, solitary scripture that supports any notion or argument that God won't heal you, doesn't want you healthy, thinks dying is the better choice for you or the absurd, despicable classic, "When it's your time to go..." Or "It was his time. God called him home." God doesn't have some hit list with your name on it. On the contrary, the Bible declares in every instance that it's always God's will that we live long, strong, healthy, prosperous lives. We die, yes but we get beat and cheated and robbed of our life here and I can prove to you, that it isn't the Holy Father who's the one standing in the dark, dreary shadows with a sickle in his hand, calling for the lives of the innocent.

Now I know you're going to work feverishly in hopes to find Bible scriptures that will substantiate your position that it isn't God's will to heal us, or that it's simply not His desire that we live long, healthy lives, and that He "takes" some or even many and chooses to heal others and so forth. I hope you do. That will give me just the opening I need to blow the enemy of your mind right out of the water and I will. I know just the scriptures you're thinking of but you've misinterpreted them. Bring them on.

Whether we sugar-coat it with poise and poignant poetry or we turn our back on God, calling him out as a 'genocidal, megalomaniacal, egotistical, homicidal maniac," as some do, those seemingly innocent little quips and phrases all come  down to one thing: GOD INDISCRIMINANTLY KILLS PEOPLE. No wonder most of us grow up wanting nothing to do with Him.

People so readily accept these wives tales which assert heresies such as, He's a sovereign God and He works in mysterious ways, therefore we'll never know why He chose not to heal my dad of the agonizing cancer that riddled his entire body, or why He took all those poor little children in that terrible fire or why He let that man rape, strangle and then stab my daughter or why He let my son die as violently as he did on that motorcycle, or in that war, and so forth.

That type of thinking isn't noble or Godly or pious on any level. It's pride-filled and arrogant and foolish and essentially it say's, It could never be my fault or our fault or Man's fault or a demonic attack. Notice: Every death and tragedy and atrocity and calamity is always God's fault according to Man. We're too arrogant to dare admit that we might even have an enemy who doesn't sleep and that he works around the clock, like rust, to kill us, rob us, ruin us, destroy all that we love and need and have and hope for.

Insurance providers don't cover certain calamities, naming them "Acts of God." It's one of their own loopholes.

Definitions of an "act of God" vary, but all refer to natural disasters or extreme weather events such as lightening, tornados, hurricanes, or earthquakes. No one can be held responsible for an actual act of God. "Man, God can certainly be a real mean S.O.B sometimes!" Right? Have you ever felt that way, thought that...still believing it? Most of us have and it's okay, He knows we've been tragically deceived for the better part of the lives.

Proverbs 17:5

Whoso mocketh the poor reproacheth his Maker: and he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished.

Therefore, why would God favor poverty, calamity, sickness and death? He doesn't.

Change your thinking, change your life.

The bible clearly tells us repeatedly that we do have one 'Hell' of an enemy and he is out to get you but God is out to save you, always. God can't arbitrarily save anyone from poverty, physical death or any adversity when we don't fully and completely trust Him to do what we've asked; to believe for it with every ounce of fiber in us and not doubt or waver. Prayer is crucial. Praying daily and praying boldly, being aware of His promises and not asking for His will to be done in areas where He has made it perfectly clear to us already that it's His will.

When you look at the broad picture over thousands of years, after centuries of gruesome, heinous, grizzly carnage spread across the globe, if one were really to believe quotes like "God needed you in heaven." "God needed another angel in heaven." "When you're time is up, nothing can stop it," "Because God, in His infinite wisdom, because He's in control, not us, chose NOT to heal little Kathy..."

...And so forth, this would make God nothing more than: "jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully." Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion.

But here is the good news: HE ISN'T. He tells us to pray without ceasing. To believe and not doubt; to live in a manner that glorifies Him and to do this, we have to acknowledge, agree and believe that Jesus is the savior of the world, sent by God to die an incomprehensible death in our place. The bible tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. What does that mean? We need to read our Bibles. It feeds our faith and when we believe what we read, declare it, decree it, receive it, expect it, He grants us immeasurable power.

Revelation 6:8

"I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth." You see, it didn't say, "God was riding that ashen horse... it said Death and death is God's enemy.

Death became part of the curse after Adam and Eve defied God, and disobeyed his only request which for the most part was a direct order and the only one He ever gave them. This act of disobedience became what we call today, sin. Jesus broke the curse. Jesus told us in no uncertain terms that we would be given the same powers that He had and in greater measure because He was leaving and going to the Father. We're no longer under the curse. Don't receive it; don't entertain it, don't philosophize it, don't embrace it, don't romanticize it and whatever you do, don't proselytize it.

When I lay dying, I said, 'Lord, thank you, I am so grateful to you for this. I am so grateful. I have a life changing testimony now of your goodness, of your greatness and of your tender mercies and unfailing love and everlasting compassion.'

Enter that place knowing it's His will, not asking Him to save a life if it's His will, as that's a slap in His face. He has made it unquestionably and undeniably clear that it is in fact His Will to save you and to heal you and moreover, that He wants to. If your child was shot, he or she wouldn't cry out, "Mother, if you want me to live, dial 911." That statement would horrify you, disturb you and even on some level, anger you."

You're child would instinctively know that you want them to live and would boldly exclaim, "Mother, call 911 and I will live."

"Father, with just your word, I will live. I thank you that Jesus died in my place so that I will live and not die and declare your great works. I thank you that I'm healed because your Word declares it, therefore, I believe it and I receive it, in Jesus name."

Do you know that Christians in America witness the fewest miracles than the rest of the Christian population outside America? Let's say for example that five Christian missionaries make their way to Xumtsumaria, a tiny forest on the outskirts of Dzwocezkiav, where a tribe of Golgidahs live in grass huts, survive off the land; void of virtually every luxury anyone could ever imagine and have absolutely no communication with the outside world.

Will they go to heaven?  We're accountable for what we know.  Jesus said, "I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly." And so many people misinterpret that to mean in the afterlife only. Jesus meant that for the here and now as well. The bible clearly attests that life without Jesus is a life of futility.

Futility is emptiness and purposelessness. The thinking of unbelievers is empty and purposeless as far as eternal things are concerned. To live without Jesus is to live without hope. You might say, "Well, I know a lot of people who aren't Christians who have plenty of hope." If you're standing alone in front of a hungry lion and you're unarmed and you don't know Jesus, you have little to no hope of ever being rescued out of one very life threatening situation. The same goes for cancer, a murderer, an oncoming car and anything else that raises its ugly head to eat you alive. The bible, however, offers us power, understanding and instructions on how to implement that power.

You say, "But I know tons of really good Christians that have died and they even had a lot of people praying for them." Then be reminded of this verse from Psalm 91:7, Psalm 91:7: "A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you." NIV.  We don't always know exactly what people believe for, where they truly stand, what doubts they might be riddled with, what their exact position might be. I do know this and that is we must never give up, give out or give in, (for He is faithful who has promised).

In any event, back to the of Golgidahs, for example, who, shall we say, live in grass huts, survive off the land; void of virtually every luxury anyone could ever imagine and have absolutely no communication with the outside world, are virtually guaranteed to see every prayer answered, miracles on a daily basis that literally supersede the human imagination and a village of totally fearless people. Why? Because they have only one source and no other – the bible. They haven't been savagely pulverized, chased, bulldozed, hounded, tortured, tormented, infiltrated, assimilated, confused, confounded and psychologically bludgeoned by tens of thousands of millions of various theories, opinions, ideologies, doctrines, dogmas, books, speakers, newspapers, traditions, old sayings, old wives tales, apologetics and pragmatics. Samantha Stevens would have nothing over these people.

A large percentage of Christians pray for healing or deliverance with the preconceived notion that "God will heal me only if it's His will – I ask and then if I'm one of the lucky chosen few, He might, possibly, though probably not, spare my life or the life of [whoever]. I'll beg a lot and plead with Him over and over and maybe something might happen though it doesn't seem likely because nobody I've ever known recovered from this and they prayed a lot too." We tend to base what we believe on who walked before us; on their circumstances and what others had to say about it. Do not ALLOW YOUR WALK OR FAITH be founded or based on the experience of others. EVER or chances are you won't make it.

While I lie dying of cancer in my hospital bed, (twice) that still, small voice of the enemy whispered into my heart, "You're going to die. People far Godlier, better, smarter than you didn't make it, don't think for a moment you will." As I lay dying in the hospital 3 days ago from multiple venomous spider bites after shall we say a "wilderness adventure," I heard a familiar voice in my though process, as my heart beat violently against my chest, "It's your time. This is it. You're done. You're going to die here and all those dreams of yours were just a figment of your imagination. It's over."

I merely spoke the Word and said, You have no authority here demons. Get behind me demons, because the Word of God say's "And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well. (Mark 16:17-18)

"I am healed by the stripes that Jesus took in my place and my faith has made me whole. I am healthy because He, who started a good work in me, shall complete it. He who is in me is greater than He who is in the World. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit will not have it corrupt by sickness and disease. I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord."

Remember when Satan followed Jesus into the desert to tempt Him after He had been there for forty days and forty nights (by the way, notice Satan waited until Jesus became physically weak before tempting Him), Jesus spoke the Word of God straight from the Bible during his dialogue with Satan. Satan then left. This is why it's so important for us to have God's Word sewn into our hearts. It's our immeasurable POWER beyond anything we could ever fathom. The name of Jesus, alone, is all powerful.

Let me guarantee you one thing, God doesn't need or your kids in heaven nor does He need "another angel." God isn't lacking in anything and He doesn't kill us off in order to achieve what He wants. That would render the Bible a lie and we know for a fact that the Bible isn't a lie by any stretch of the imagination and proving it to you is another topic entirely; one I'd be happy to address.

The God we serve WANTS NOTHING MORE THAN FOR YOU, FOR US, FOR EVERYONE TO LIVE; to survive, to make it, to overcome, to achieve the ultimate victory – always. If you believe anything less then you are believing in a lie. When someone dies that you prayed for, keep going and don't stop. Don't stop. Believe then for the next person and the next person and the next and one day you will look back and be utterly astounded by the scores of pets, friends, family members and so forth who somehow made it. Your "Miracle's List" will astound you. Start a miracle journal now. Watch it grow.

This is what you do: You claim every promise of God when the voice of the enemy approaches you with the bad news that you're not going to make it.

When we are spiritually right with God, we can do anything; His Word clearly tells us that. Jesus said that nothing shall be impossible to those who believe. He meets us at our level of expectation. He's asking you, "What do you believe me for?"

The bible say's in 1 Peter 5:8: "Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." NIV

The Bible refers to Satan as "The father of lies." He who has come but for to "kill, steal and destroy."

We're a pride-filled people and it wouldn't be very popular to start off a funeral by saying, "Well, SHIT, MAN... THIS AINT GOOD... We're here today because we got beat by that lying, scheming, manipulative, hater-of-the-human-race, deceiver, namely, the DEVIL and his army of angels, ONCE AGAIN...

So we sugarcoat the horrific news and render it far more spiritually palatable as we say things like, "God [decapitated Charlie on his motorcycle ride for charity last Sunday, rendering him split every which-way-sideways, leaving him indelibly embossed in a Juniper tree] took Charlie home to be with Him last Sunday because God was missing Charlie's good company and since Charlie was such an incomprehensibly GREAT, MARVELOUS, AMAZING, SUPER-DUPER GUY... God thought it was a waste to leave him down here with a buncha ordinary, no class, run of the mill, kinda folks.

For this reason, seven days a week, I wake up early every morning and jog 3 miles with my dogs, and during this event, I hit the throne room with everything I've got, and I lift up my daughter, my son, my family, my friends and everyone on my prayer list and the first thing I ask of my Father is that He gives his angels total and complete charge over each and every single one of them, sparing their lives, and extending their years and I declare and decree Psalm 91 over them, that states, "No weapon formed against them will prosper."

I commit unto God their lives and ask that He honor my request by saving them from anything that would set out to take their lives and then I ask for their prosperity, the shaping of their character and an immeasurable portion of various this, that's and others."

The bible says we are to pray without ceasing, and when sick, to call upon the elders of the church and to that they shall anoint you with oil and the prayer of faith shall save you. I live my life in 100% agreement with that Word and for those who don't believe, then they shall met at their level of expectation but it shall not impede me, overshadow why I know to be true, nor shall it taint, dilute, hamper or dissuade my decision to believe it as the infallible Word of God.

Therefore, if someone you know is hanging by a thread, are you going to call Richard Dawkins or are you going to call me?

2nd Timothy 3: 1-5:

But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

I speak with so many people who profess their belief in God and Jesus but when I start talking Bible or power or healing or miracles, they instantly tune out and turn off.

I love this scripture here where Paul say's in 2 Corinthians 2:4-5: "My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.

You know what that says? That Paul routinely performed miracles for people, "By the demonstration of God's power."

You know what I tell people who don't believe? 'Okay, no problem. Tell ya what, why don't you join the Church of Satan and ask the demons to reveal themselves to you in no uncertain terms and if you survive it, then I imagine we'll have nothing further to debate.
