It is stated in Hebrews 6:1-3 that the matter of eternal judgment is part of the foundation doctrines of faith in Christ. Like every other foundation doctrine, people have taught contradictory things on this vital subject.
But in the end, it won't matter what YOUR OPINION is about eternal judgment - what will matter is GOD'S EVALUATION of your life.
Do not go empty handed to God
When you give your life to Christ, God gives you ALL THINGS that pertain to life and godliness. He has put gifts in you, abilities, potential and blessed you. He loves you with an everlasting love and since He gave Himself to death for you He is also willing to give you all other things.
At the end of your life He is expecting a return on His investment in you. What have you done with all the things He has given you for His glory and the spread of His Kingdom?

Hell is real - evangelize while there is still time.
We need a Saviour because of our own free will we have broken God's Holy Laws. Putting other things before God, making a god of our own imagination, dishonoring the name of Jesus, breaking the Sabbath, dishonoring our parents, stealing, hating, committing adultery (in our hearts at least), lying about others and loving money - we have broken every one of God's commandments. read more »
The Judgments of God
Every violation of God's wisdom will set into motion a chain of consequences that will bring pain, hurt and loss. God warns all people repeatedly throughout the Scripture of the consequences of violating his laws.
This section of the site should help you to identify what some of the curses are that come when you disobey God either through ignorance or wilful transgression.
The terrible consequences of disobedience can be mitigated for those who repent of their sins and turn in faith to God, who made a way of escape.

Not forgiving can send you to hell
"And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.
"So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses." Matthew 18:34,35

Christians who do not fear God can go to hell
Jesus warned us about the seriousness of sin when He said:
If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. (Matthew 5:29,30)

The Punishment of the Wicked
WE BELIEVE in the everlasting punishment of the wicked (in the sense of eternal torment) who wilfully reject and despise the love of God manifested in the great sacrifice of His only Son upon the cross for their salvation - Matt 25:46; 13:49,50; Luke 12:47,48; 2 Thess 1:8,9; Rom 6:23; Rev 20:11-15. We believe that the devil and his angels and whosoever is no found written in the Book of Life shall be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death - Rev 19:20; Rev 20:10-15.

What shall we make of Matthew 7:21-23
One of the most interesting and controversial passages anywhere in the Bible comes straight out of the mouth of Jesus Christ, and is recorded for us in Matthew 7:21-23:
"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter
the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied
in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your
name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart

Eternal Security - Dare we believe it?
Back in 1997 I spoke with a pastor and the subject of the eternal security of the believer came up. This pastor is a lovely, gracious man and is doing many things to reach people in the community with the gospel. He obviously loves the Lord and loves people. When I questioned him regarding the contents of one of the theological books he was reading, it came out that he believed in the doctrine that a truly born again believer is eternally secure, no matter what he may do from that time on. In other words, if a person was read more »

Getting Ready for Eternal Judgment
There is coming a day soon when I will give an account of my life to Jesus Christ. This day is coming for you also. Paul, writing to believers in Rome, said,
"So then each of us shall give account of himself to God". (Romans 14:12)
Unbelievers, the fearful, liars, sexually immoral people and many others will be cast into the Lake of Fire.
