Do not go empty handed to God

When you give your life to Christ, God gives you ALL THINGS that pertain to life and godliness. He has put gifts in you, abilities, potential and blessed you. He loves you with an everlasting love and since He gave Himself to death for you He is also willing to give you all other things.

At the end of your life He is expecting a return on His investment in you. What have you done with all the things He has given you for His glory and the spread of His Kingdom?

When He came on the earth, He came with salvation, healing, deliverance, prosperity, fruits of the Spirit, gifts of the Spirit and eternal life for us. When we go to heaven, what will we bring Him?

You might think: I have come with nothing in this earth and I will leave with nothing. True, in the natural. But in the spiritual, you can use your talents for God and through your praying, through your sharing, through your loving, through your giving you can touch lives and reach souls for Christ who will be meet you up in heaven and thank you, because your giving prepared the way for them to encounter Jesus.

Live your life in such a way that you do not regret much when you enter heaven. Give so others can also be reached and enjoy the love of God and His presence in their lives just as much as you do.

After all, when you go to heaven you go before a King, the King of Kings. No one goes empty handed before a King, it is dishonouring to the King to come before Him empty handed, especially when He gave up His only Son for you.

The twelve disciples, after they heard Jesus lament about the rich young ruler who was not willing to give his possessions to help the poor, asked Jesus what their reward shall be since thye have left all:

Mar 10:28 Then Peter began to say to Him, "See, we have left all and followed You."
Mar 10:29 So Jesus answered and said, "ASSUREDLY, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brother
