Did Jesus pre-exist ?

Raised at my prayer/praise meeting today was that Jesus pre-existed his life on earth 2000 years ago. I was pointed to Chapter 1 of John's Gospel and to the use of 'us' and 'our' by God in scriptures (e.g. Genesis 1:26, Corinthians and elsewhere).
Apparently, this gives support that 'us' was God and Jesus.
I would appreciate views and comments.

There are a number of places in the Old Testament that the second Person in the Godhead is referred to - we know Him as Jesus Christ.
No man has seen God, the First Person in the Godhead, and lived - this is Father God.
The Third Person in the Godhead was only given to man after the ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ - this is The Holy Spirit.
The Angel of the Lord must be the visible God of the Old Testament as Jesus Christ is the living God of the New Testament.
Gen 16:10 Also the Angel of the Lord said to her, I will multiply your descendants exceedingly, so that they shall not be numbered for multitude.
Exo 23:20 Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep and guard you on the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.
Exo 23:21 Give heed to Him, listen to and obey His voice; be not rebellious before Him or provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgression; for My Name is in Him. [Exod. 32:34; 33:14; Isa. 63:9.]
Exo 23:22 But if you will indeed listen to and obey His voice and all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.
Exo 23:23 When My Angel goes before you and brings you to the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, and I reject them and blot them out.
This is confirmed by Paul as being Christ:
1Co 10:1 FOR I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, that our forefathers were all under and protected by the cloud [in which God's Presence went before them], and every one of them passed safely through the [Red] Sea, [Exod. 13:21; 14:22, 29.]
1Co 10:2 And each one of them [allowed himself also] to be baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea [they were thus brought under obligation to the Law, to Moses, and to the covenant, consecrated and set apart to the service of God];
1Co 10:3 And all [of them] ate the same spiritual (supernaturally given) food, [Exod. 16:4, 35.]
1Co 10:4 And they all drank the same spiritual (supernaturally given) drink. For they drank from a spiritual Rock which followed them [produced by the sole power of God Himself without natural instrumentality], and the Rock was Christ. [Exod. 17:6; Num. 20:11.]
