Scriptures to Defeat Fear

Meditate on these Sciptures deeply. Say them, mutter them, think about them deeply, ponder them, declare them in the first person. They are weapons to defeat that evil demon of fear which is stopping you from doing the will of our Father in heaven.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

Philippians 4:19

And my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19).

Personal Comments:

I need to believe this promise not only for personal and family needs, but especially for the needs of the ministry I am called to fulfil.

For the television ministry especially, we need so many leaders, managers, staff, camera men, editors, computers, cameras, software licenses, distribution contracts and so on. read more »

Deuteronomy 8:18

"And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day."

Confession:
I remember the LORD my God.
The Lord my God gives me power to get wealth.
The wealth I get is for the establishing of God's covenant.

Prayer:
Thank you Lord for all things. I remember you, and all you have done for me. Thanks for giving me power to get wealth. Let your covenant be established through my life also, and the lives of my friends and associates. read more »

Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go." Isaiah 48:17

Confession:
The LORD my Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel is talking to me.
The LORD is my God.
The LORD God teaches me to profit.
The LORD God leads me in the way I should go.

Prayer:
Thank you Lord that you are speaking with me.
Thank you that you are not just God, you are MY God.
Thank you Lord that you teach me to profit.

"Wait on the LORD, and keep His way, and He shall exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it."

Confession
I wait on the LORD.
I keep the way of the LORD.
The LORD shall exalt me.
The LORD shall cause me to inherit the land.
When the wicked are cut off, I shall see it.

Prayer
Lord, teach me to wait on You. Teach me to keep your ways - to live in Your presence. Then you shall exalt me, so I can serve and enjoy you better. You will give me victory over my enemies.

"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you shall ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." (John 15:7)

Prayer:
Lord, teach me by Your Spirit how to abide in Christ, day by day, hour by hour. Teach me how to retain your words in my heart. Then I will ask what I desire and it shall be done for me.

Confession:
I abide in Christ and I will abide in Christ.

Joshua 1:8

"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." (Joshua 1:8)

Confession:
The Word of God shall not depart from my mouth.
I shall meditate on the Word of God day and night.
Meditating on the Word of God will enable me to do the word of God.
My way shall thus be made prosperous.
I shall have good success.
