This sounds good John. Why is it not happening so much in the western world? Could it be because pastors today control in large measure the resources, the platforms and the loyalty of most Christians, and that they are intent on their own visions, rather than the vision of Jesus Christ for the city? People have not grown spiritually to the point where they can hear the voice of God to do these things and support those doing them. We have failed to equip people to know God.

There has been such an emphasis on doctrines that teach, on the threat of eternal damnation, that people to put money firstly into the budgets controlled by pastors. But if you listen to Christian TV, you get a lot of false prophecies designed to pull money out of your pocket into the trusts controlled by rich TV preachers. It is not possible that all of this be of God. I am sure much of it is not. People need to learn to give generously as the Holy Spirit directs. That might be to the poor, the unknown and the suffering believers.
