The Unknown
I do not know the unknown. This I can admit. I do not pretend to know the future. I do know that the words of Jesus of Nazareth lead to life. According to scripture he said, no one comes to the father, but "by me." What a claim. But, who has really left the father? To claim that one could actually leave the father would be to limit the infinity of God. That is the good news of Christ. That you do not need blood sacrifices for salvation from sin. Simply repent, go and sin no more. Surely, no one does good except through this prescription. Run from superstition and live by faith in doing things good. Practice doing good. Set goals that lead to a full life and walk with faith free from superstition for through Christ every last little bit of superstition's power was forever once and for all nailed to the cross. Most of us nuture superstition not realizing that this leads to death and destruction. Armies are rallied and marched to the drumbeat of superstition. There are those who crave attention, wealth and/or power and use superstition to their own ends. Guard yourself against it. Put on a wardrobe of compassion just as Christ gave all to do a compassionate battle against superstition. After Cortez had conquered Mexico the Aztecs simply said, we have traded the Mexican god of war for the christian god of war. They could not tell a difference. Do others see goodness in you or do they see superstition?
