Christmas celebration is just a tradition

It could be a useful tradition, as it gives us an opportunity to get people to church who would not come otherwise, and Jesus has a small place in our culture through it.

I don't think God requires us to celebrate it, but I don't believe He objects if we do either. It can be a loving thing to celebrate Christmas with our family.

No day is evil in itself. My daughter was born on October 31, Halloween. So was about .3% of the world's population.

We don't know exactly which day of the year Jesus was born on. So the church picked a day based on the winter solstice to celebrate his birth.
