I can't help but take offence with it, i have a number of gay friends who are some of the nicest people i have ever met and have helped me through some of the hardest times of my life. i cannot accept that God would let such people perish for expressing their love to their partners in a physical manner like any other human beings ):

most people take offence and tell me to respect my elders a lot
i don't see how i am being disrespectful, i just get ever so slightly passionate on some matters
