My personal opinion of the prosperity gospel is that it stinks. God tells us that we are already rich when we are in Him. He has given us everything that we need and just for good measure He gives us more. The ones who are into the prosperity gospel have a spirit of filthy lucre and have not given this part over to the Lord so He can clean it up. I am not a person who has extra money but what I have is very sufficent for me and all of my needs are taken care of. God gives us a life that is abundant and His abundance is all that we need and not more of earthly things in our life.
