He seems as if he is trying not to offend anyone but regardless of what he says or what any Christian say, non- believers and convicted individuals will be offended. What many Christians don't understand is that when they answer a question in biblical sense, they are not judging anyone. The Word of God has already judged them and their deeds. You are just affirming the Word of God

I haven't remembered this scripture by heart yet but I am aware of it. "For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
