I have fasted for two days a few months ago without a real focus on what my fast was for but my prayer was that I could be delivered from past hurts. The second day was Sunday night and moments after I entered the church, (for Tehellia worship), the Spirit came upon me and I will never forget the feeling I had inside, just under my ribcage, this feeling subsided after worship but the joy stayed with me for awhile, until the worries of my life entered my mind again.

I will never forget the intense feeling of love and lightness with joy. Thank you for the article, I will start my fast, much needed, tonight.
