Punk
To quote the lyrics of Johnny Rotten.
"I am an anti christ. I am an anarchist. Don't know what I want but I know where to get it...I wanna destroy...cos I wanna be. Anarchy."
The generation that sang along to that in the UK (a little older than me) were at the forefront of something very sinister and nihilistic. I don't think it was created by the music.
I think it was created by the generation before and their sexual habits - which meted out sexual abuse of children...these children then grew up to be the angry punks, dressing in child-like ways, and making themselves ugly.
And the punk movement was famously anti-sex, which again, can be an attitude of those who survive sexual abuse.
So the anger in the lyrics is certainly satanic and something of a trance-curse, yes, but the evil behind it came from the hippy "free love" generation. Again, Punk's famous phrase was "never trust a hippy"
