In my country in the central Pacific, we have a local martial art that our people believe is far superior than Asian martial arts. Like other skills, it is not easy to share except to only close members of family, or even to sons only.
The origin of these martial arts however was associated with some gods-spirits (not GOD) and it is well known that the Masters of these martial arts practice certain taboos and magics as part of the art. The gods are with them as they kind of having 4 eyes, whereby when they are attacked suddenly from the back, by knife or other means, the attacker would instantly fell to his disappointment to the ground without harm to the Master!
