It's interesting that you mention an increase of spiritual attacks. My friends and I have noticed the same thing. The enemy is going after our kids and finances. My 13 year old was hearing voices and seeing monsters. Our business has been under attack but as of last night I just wonder if God is using it to reach my husband. He's not saved but he defends me and my faith against his family when they attack Christians. Last night, while discussing marketing, he took my hand for the first time ever and told me to pray. I was so stunned I almost didn't know what to say. Except, Thank You. It's going to be interesting to see what happens to all of us when we come out of the fire. God promised to protect us and bring us through the tough times as long as we stay focused on him. Sometimes that is even difficult. Fortunately, there is always a beginning and an ending to each day so that we can.
My friend told me that because we are getting closer to the end, Satan is freaking out and has stepped up his campaign against us. On the other hand, it's not like we are being fed to the lions for our faith so we can be grateful for that. A woman Dr. from Iran said in an interview that the members of the Iranian government wanted her to practice medicine here so that she could gather personal information about her patients. They wanted to know where all the Christians and Jews lived because when the time was right they planned to slaughter the Jews first, next Christians, after that everyone else that would not convert. Being a caring Dr. she managed to sneak out and is living under armed guard in Canada. Maybe, they are our lions. We ignore them at our peril, I know that. As God said however, we do not battle flesh, we battle prinicipalities and only God can fight that one for us. We have to rely upon our gov't. the keep the flesh away and be grateful that the President we have now starts every day in prayer and asks for the Lord's guidance. Hopefully, the next one will as well.
I'm thinking that the more of us that are aware of what is going on will only increase the amount of prayer going up to heaven. God will hear a shout instead of a whimper.
